I know there are plenty of DDR Freaks (Dance Dance Revolution, for the uninitiated) at this forum, and I think it's about time we had a thread where we can brag to eachother about our accomplishments in the game. Far, far away from the staggering stupidity of ddrfreak.com's forums. LOL

(My list is gonna be long, because I'm an everyman when it comes to DDR)
Single Mode Catas: 10. The only ones really worth bragging about are Rhythm & Police, Burning Heat (fluke), Tsugaru, and iNSERTION.

Double Mode: 3 8-footers...Matsuri Japan, Holic, and era (nostalmix). Crab walks of DOOOOM!!!

Solo Mode: A few 7-footers...Drop Out Standard, Sexy Planet Heavy....I'm just getting into Solo now.

Oni Mode: 27.7% on Love RevenG! Woo! Afronova Remix can bite me. I also have a 26.9% on Naoki Standard Double....not bad considering I never played any of the songs in Naoki Standard on Double before trying the course. X_x

Anyone else? Brag away! ^_^

I can hop on one foot for like a minuet. Is that good?

Not bad. If you can go for a minute and 30 seconds you might be able to pass a song that way. ^_^

Damn, I forgot to mention that I full-comboed AM-3P Heavy. Wheee......

I stopped playing when I was doing 7's in the arcade, but my bud at home is now disappointed when he doesn't get at least a AA...on 300Max. He's working on the AA on Maxx Unlimited now, the kid is ridiculous.

Recently, I got past my first 8-foot song. I can't remember which one, and I got past another one I can't remember. They weren't that fast, and I got a C as usual.

Edit: This was 4th Mix. DDRMAX2 is closer to home, but I prefer the flavor of 4th mix.

Hee hee, people like that crack me up. I usually don't even bother looking at the grade I get when I beat a song. When I beat a song for the first time I look to see if it's a C or a D but that's about it. LOL

Catas meaning 9 footers, Yashiro? I don't keep up with the lingo.

9 footer singles: Insertion, Broken My Heart, My Summer Love, Kakumei

Doubles: I can do some 8's, most 7's.

Oni: I've passed Lesson Oni at home with a 97%, at the arcade, I've been 80% into singles Naoki Standard and 80% into singles Soul Six.

Yup, "cata" means 9-footer; being short for "catastrophic" which was the name applied to 9-footers back in 1st-3rd mix when all the foot ratings had names. Dorks like me still say "cata" even now. Don't worry, I don't call 8-footers "exorbs" or 7-footers "paras" ~_^

I forgot to post my Lesson Oni score. It was a godawful 89 or 90% if I remember correctly. I should try it again....

Um. Um. I only play 5th mix, since I hate the max series...

But I A'd DXY in maniac. =0 I did a zillion other things too, but you know, I don't care 'nuff about em to brag. I'm just proud of my DXY accomplishment. <:}

OK...today I beat 4 new catas: Lupin the 3rd '78, Furuhata's Theme, Saint Goes Marching, and Twilight Zone. I think I should stop keeping track of my catas now.... X_x

Closest I ever came to a DDR machine was looking at it from across the street LOL

Can you use a control pad for the Dreamcast DDR's or do you need a mat/platform?
I love music games and I'm playing Pop'n music 2 right now :D (I suck bad ;) )
