Hi. I just bought a game from the piece of shit seller "ps2_xbox_gc" and it turned out to be a blatant bootleg. The game was Madden 2006, and it had no player pictures, skipping audio, and the game froze for at least 3 seconds after every play. If I leave a negative feedback for him and he retaliates and leaves one back for me, will I be able to get that removed? I only have about 50 transactions, and a negative would be very harmfull. Thanks for the help.

Yes, it's always good to leave a negative in case of a bootleg, because they are most likely selling OTHER games of theirs as bootlegs, it will provide other users a warning. I think you should give them the negative.

Don't let getting a retaliation bother you, you have to do what's right, let other people know this guy is an asshole. If he retaliates, you can write a follow up and explain what it is, I know I'd understand if I was bidding on one of your auctions and you had a retaliation like that.

Can you take a picture of the game or give us a link of the auction?

Here is the link to the auction:

Thanks for the help, I will leave the negative momentarily. It was actually very well made, it looked nearly identical to the real game, it was just slightly more shiny and the case also did not have the official NFL seal thing. Game played horribly, though.

I'd like to see a picture of it though, because you cannot play bootleg games without a modded PS2

Hmm, I don't have a modded PS2 or anything, so is the game just shitty? There are no scratches at all on the disk, so there has too be something wrong internally with it. Any ideas? Thanks. Also, I don't have a camera at my house now, so I can't take a pic.

It seems he doesn't leave negative feedback for any of the people that left it for him, so i don't think you have to worry about the retaliation.

I noticed that, it does seem kind of odd.

As mentioned earlier, you cannot play bootlegs if you havnt modded your PS2. Altho I dont know if you can play pressed bootleg discs without a modchip.
What about the other games on your PS2? Do they work fine?

Yep, they all work fine. The reason I know that something's wrong with this game is because me and my friend have been playing this game on my PS2, and his copy works fine.

Do they even MAKE pressed bootleg disks?

Like I said, if you can snap a picture of it for us, that would be great.

$36 for a bootleg, I think that is enough reason to leave negative feedback. If he leaves you negative feedback as well, I think people would realize that you did the right thing.

Why'd you buy from him in the first place?
That guys feedback really sucks.
Make sure to pay attention to that when you buy on eBay.

Whoa... yeah, you're right.
I saw "10897" and "95.3%" and thought that was pretty good. Then I clicked on his feedback.
33 Negatives in the past month! :hmm:

Yea, really stupid on my part. I am unable to take a pic of it now because I am a college student living in my dorm, and noone I know has a digital camera. Thanks for the help.

It probably wasn't a bootleg but a defective game. Some people know of a way to get their hands on defective product that's returned to stores and vendors. Then they have a field day selling broken stuff on eBay.

Im not familiar with the asian bootleg marked (where most are made), but it shouldnt be impossible to press it. If they do it I dont know.

I also find it strange that a seller with this much feedback doesnt have Paypal buyers protection program.
