I sold this Australian eBay buyer these Mega Man cartoon collection DVD's for $11.50 which I had been hoping to get $30 for. His first email to me asks if I have any other DVD's for cheap to sell to him, to which I answer no. He then writes back with this request still without payment:

ok then
i was wondering if you would also do this little request for me
i like to try different candy bars that are not available in australia
am wondering if you would send me 1 of a couple of american candy bars
with
the dvds i won
i always ask every UK and american seller i buy from if they would mind
doing it for me
9 out of 10 sellers are more then happy to send me at least 1 candy bar
for
free
last year a seller sent me 10 candy bars for free with what i won from
them
are you willing to do the same as those other sellers and send me at
least 1
candy bar for free with the items
hopeing you will say yes
let me know if you will and what ones it or they will be
here is the list of candy bars i am still wanting to try

Whatchamacallit

AAARRRRGGGHHH!! I'm not the frikkin candy man. I sell video game stuff. Had he purchased a good sizeable amount of stuff, I would probably have considered it. But stop pestering me when you've only purchased 2 DVD collections at a steal for only $11.50!!

That is all. Sorry if I sound grumpy, but I've had a couple of weird transactions on eBay lately :/

First of all I would remove his name and address here. Doubt he wants his name posted here without permission.
I have recived candy twice when I bought stuff hehe. I didnt ask for it. I would never eat it anyway. You dont know what freaks theres out there.

First of all, my God, I'd love to find the Mega Man DVD's for 11.50.

Second of all, my God, with FREE CANDY? That's like commiting a crime it sounds so good!

Basically what I'm saying is, you're dealing with a nutcase with a chocolate Fetish, I say shit in his package and say it's a "whatchamacallit".

Makes me sound cheap huh? I don't mind throwing in goodies. But I usually will throw in an extra game or something lying around like a hairball :-P Now those are delicious.

Now that I got back and read his list, this guys candy taste seems to be stuck on the "WHAT THE FUCKING HELL I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THEY MADE THAT MUCH LESS WHERE WOULD I FIND IT!?" side.

Strawberry Kit Kat? What the Christ!

I see he wants a Hot Tamles Boxed, he didn't say complete! I say send him a half eaten box.

LOL I smell the workings of a candies guide with loose/boxed/complete prices.

To hell with that guy.

There are online shops that sell American candy to overseas customers.

Shit, he might as well have asked for you to throw in a couple dollars along with the dvds.

:hmm:

If he had not allready paid he could have at least offered to throw a few bucks in.

I've thought about it.

I think I'm going to hit him with my own list:

boomerang
Koala
eucalyptus leaves
kangaroo

And then tell him that 9/10 Australian eBayers usually comply. And what a pity it'd be if he doesn't do so for free.

that would make for an interesting customs form :P

Contents:

DVD's $20
Whatchamacallits $3
Hot Tamales $3

guy at customs: :hmm:
*opens box*
"OOOOH AMERICAN CHOCOLATE AND CANDY!"
*eats and seals box up*
Australian buyer: :(

There was a great UK based online candy shop that specialized in American products.

It featured customer reviews and such. Overall, UKers seem to think that US candy is tasty, but too sugary. LOL

Heh, they liked our cereal though, that's for sure.

Wish I could remember the url........ :?

BTW, tell that fartknocker there's a freaking shop in Australia that specializes in American products. Here's the address:

He probably doesnt believe you when you say you dont eat candy. I mean, a yank that doesnt gorge themselves 24/7.. Who ever heard of such a thing! LOL <- thats a joke, no offence

The weather is starting to warm up here anyway, so its probably for the best..

I don't get it personally, American candy is just a step above what you find in Mexico, and that's just because we have the FDA. Europe, Canada, they take their chocolate much more seriously.

WTF?

I live right next to Mexico "McAllen Texas", and let me tell you they are far different from each other! You'll see Mexicans asking YOU to bring some candy over. My dad tells me many stories about how he just gives it to them as gifts sometimes.

That dude doesn't know shit about candy. He needs to get into the exotic stuff, like Ferrara Pan. Lemon Heads rule. So does Lik-A-Maid.
