Man, I like to see good pictures of eBay auctions items as much as the next guy, but damn... someone has some free time on their hands @_@

NES Double Dragon (http://cgi.ebay.com/Rare-Double-Dragon-For-NES-Complete-and-Near-MINT_W0QQitemZ8226401497QQcategoryZ62053QQrdZ1QQcm dZViewItem)

Oh, and some lucky bastard got a hella deal from this same seller on THIS (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8220344931) ... Ended with a BIN of .99 cents 12 minutes after he posted the auction. Wow, what a lucky guy who scored that one @_@

Something I can't understand:
Why selling a game for 0,99$ BIN when you put four pictures in your auction? The guy just earned nothing :D

You don't pay extra for the pictures if you host them on your own web space. It only costs extra if you use eBay's picture service

Overkill, maybe, but I kinda wish all auctions were like this :P

Holy shit that's a huge dose of pics, good to see it all though. You can clearly see that he doesn't sell that much on eBay cause he takes his time to take all these pics and upload them.

I found an auction a few years ago for a train set, and it had at least 86 pictures on it.

I like to put up a few good pictures of the stuff that I sell, so the people that are bidding can see the condition. Sometimes they don't come out as good as I'd like,

I like the idea, I know exactly what I'm getting!

Unnecessary, but very good to see. Now why can't people do this for their rarer auctions? Like that one with the guy taking the picture of his "NWC" from the top of a ladder.

I like the idea as well. If I were trying to win that auction, I would definiltey like the idea of having all those pictures. I find it amusing that some people will list a lot of 50+ games with no picture, only a text list... And this seller took nearly 20 pictures of a fairly common complete NES game. I admire his "professionalism" in his auctions

One word: thumbnails.
That page was 2.3 MB or so - people on Dialup can't handle that. I applaud pics, but use some common sense.

I like all the photos, but I guess instead of taking so many he should have taken 10 seconds to remove the dust and dirt from the finger holes on the top of the game. Right were you grab the game to put it in and out of the NES has a grip of dirt that a simple wet Q-Tip or rag would have easily taken care of. Not that it is necessary, but it would have made a even more professional photo.

Yeah you know exactly what your getting.. but probably overkill, if I was selling that, I'd probably try and fit more on each picture.. perhaps 3 pictures at the most.

If I was selling an item however.. that was very desirable such as sometimes I sell Ghettoblasters on eBay.. I usually take 8-12 pictures now.. because someone who is even on dialup will wait for all the pictures to load.. otherwise they will see the first one at least :-)

That's pretty cool though how you know exactly what your getting.. but from a bandwidth point of view.. if you sold many items with that many pictures, I doubt you'd be able to use free space given with an ISP...

Dude...I wish every auction was like that. Most don't even have one picture of the actual item.

This seems like a good seller, he shows his item EXACTLY like it is.
