wasnt that the tri-star? played nes, famicom and super famicom titles... i kinda remember reading about it but it never showed up over here in the uk, allthough i'd read somewhere that they had been found or a device similar in other parts of europe and asia

i know that another device similar to that made it onto the n64

No, it wasn't the tri-star .. that's what the one for N64 is called. It was something else and if the rarity database was up, I'd know what it is. It's quite rare though and worth around $75 last time I remember seeing it.

The Tri-star 64 was the one that played snes and nes games on the n64. The one that played nes games on the snes is called the "Super 8". They were both made by the company called Tri-star.

Yeah, I just saw one of these at a local game store and was thinking of picking it up. He wanted $80 for it though. Or $99 with a SNES and 10 common games...

Not sure if it's worth that much to me though....

Sqaw one on ebay...it sold for about $60.
