I just picked up 2nd(without knowing I already have it) copy of Super Tennis, and they have different labels. The one I got today is ESRB rated "E" while the other doesn't, also on the serial number, there is the number "1" added to the end of it. Just pointing ths out incase you guy's didn't know. ;)

I loved this game growing up, I don't think many people enjoy it but I loved it. Very very very fun game.

Nintendo does that with re-releases such as the "player's choice" line of games or simply when they repackage the game for a second run like I know they did with Super Bomberman 2.

no, not really true

while those re-releases are one example of label/box changes (that are represented by -1, -2, ... codes) every single change made to a label/box/manual, wether it was a typo, a logo change or a copyright update, results in a -1 (or subsequent)

Which is essentially what I said.

1) Greatest Hits

2) Subsequent runs ie: repackages

While I didn't go into the minuta of Nintendo's policy, I covered the basics.
