^-- What he said.

Same goes for the rest of ya! C'mon all it takes is a few minutes and a camera. Borrow a friend's camera! Steal one, even! Ok don't steal one. But get them in! Email them to digitalpress@email.com - the BIGGER the picture is the better!

I took a bunch in 640X480. I'll take new ones in 1600X1200.

Mitch, not received yet. Just FYI in case you thought you'd sent them.

I was planning on posting some gameroom pics just this week; I was going to do them small enough to post here... Just out of curiosity, why do you prefer them bigger? I figured smaller would be better, especially for those with dialup. Or do you want to be able to read the label on each game? LOL

You're not far from the truth.

2 reasons.

1. So we can all read the labels on every game. Actually just so we can zoom in and see what's there. Small pics don't really show anything but clutter. We have lots of webspace so why not have a thumbnail small (for quick loading) and a nice HUGE picture to zoom into (for the curious)!

2. If your pictures are used in the magazine column, bigger is better. Even crummy resolution photos look ok when they're big and then scaled down to the 2" boxes you get there!

joe,
I haven't sent them yet. My dad came over and swiped his digital camera back. I got it back and will get them to you soon. They keep coming out really dark. I will take a few more and work on them to get them lighter.

Ok then, I doubt my gameroom would make the magazine, it's not nearly as massive as some of the others here, but I'll send them big

My camera has 3 settings, High-res, low-res, and "Ebay res", I shall do them as high res unless you say you'd prefer medium :)

I hope to get my pics up soon too.I doubt mine would make it in the mag either, being 15 I don't all the rare games of 1000s of games. But you never know.... :/

It's not about quantity, necessarily. In the March issue you'll see Buttasuperb's collection featured in the mag - he concentrates on quality titles; that's the angle. Also I'd like to focus a little more on really well-arranged or even niche collections (like someone who's got every game.com game all together for a pic, or someone who has all the Activision 2600 titles).

So don't be frightened away by the mass of some of those supercollections - small, well-organized collections will probably relate BETTER to those thumbing through the pages!
