I remember looking foward to Mario Baseball coming out. After actually finding a good baseball game (Baseball Stars 2 for Neo-Geo), I was hoping Mario Baseball to impress me as well. Even though this game was cool and all that it used Mario characters, it still turned out to be incredibly boring and pointless like every other baseball videogame.

Am I the only one that was dissapointed?

Yep. The wife and I picked it up yesterday and have been playing it constantly. Great game - easy to pick up and learn, but challenging enough to keep you interested.

I love to play the game, and yet to save up enough money to buy it. I can't wait to pick it up. I don't know why you find it boring. Maybe you just really dislike baseball games.

Wow. Tripple post. Hmmm.

I liked Superstar Baseball. I really got a kick out of the animations for "key" matchups, and I really enjoyed the mushroom kindom parks. It wasn't a deep baseball sim, but I didn't expect it to be. Easy to pick up and play, but enough depth to keep me coming back.

This is a good baseball game. The only downside for me is the base running, but I can handle it. Other than that, great gameplay and awesome graphics!

I love the game it is a fun venture from ordinary baseball, with star hits and pitches. It is one of the best games I have played recently. :-P
