This looks like it was my copy I sold last year. The plastic had some small rips in places along the seem. There was also mold under the plastic which can been seen in the pictures if you look close. Kinda like grrey spots on the black background.

$157 and the reserve is not yet met?!? What the hell?...

And enough with all the different angled pictures (and not so sharp either)!

If it's not too indiscrete to ask, Buyatari, how much did you sell your copy for?

I forgot how mouch I sold it for.

At first I wanted $350.00 and passed on offers of $300
Then I needed money quick for another deal and sold for over $200 but I couldn't tell you exactly how much over.

Why would anyone pay THAT kind of money for such a horrid game?

Its a sealed black box Nintendo game. I believe there are only 2 known to exisit at this time. There are several guys trying to complete a sealed NES collection so they always fight over the first copy that comes available.

And it sold for $375.00 and to a guy who jerked me around for months and never came through.

Amazing

I have a sealed black box Mario Bros. Has a slight rip in the shrinkwrap at the top. What do you think that would go for?

If the slit is big enough to get the game out then its not a sealed game and you wouldn't get as much. If it is just a small slit you should get good money for it. Couple hundred at least.

I'd say its around a inch and a half rip.

Are black boxed games worth more as a whole?

I've got a bunch of black boxed NES games. They aren't shrinkwrapped but does the black box make them worth any more at all?

The games are;

10 Yard Fight
Clu Clu Land
Duck Hunt
Excitebike
Golf
Gyromite
Kung Fu
Mach Rifer
Mike Tyson's Punch Out
Pinball
Super Mario Bros
Tennis
Wild Gunman

A few of the black box games are worth significantly more if you have the box to go with the cart. For example Clu Clu Land, all of the Donkey Kongs especially DK Jr. Math, Wrecking Crew, and of course Stack Up. Most of the others the box doesn't make a whole lot of difference in price. All of them although, when sealed, are very expensive and very hard to find.

Cool,

I have DK Jr. Math complete as well. I just overlooked it and didn't think about it untill yoiu mentioned it.

So how much are the worth abouts complete but not sealed?

I would say Clu Clu land is worth $30-$40 complete although I have seen it go as high as $105.00 on eBay. Dk Jr Math will fetch anywhere from $40-$70 on eBay and I have seen that one go as high as $120.

Are you serious about a sealed Mario Bros. being worth a lot??
I would assume they would be dirt cheap as well.

A sealed Mario Brothers as in the original arcade series Mario Brothers is worth alot sealed. A Super Mario Brothers sealed, on the other hand, is not worth a fraction as much.

why would a sealed super mario bros be worth only a fraction of the others? i wouldn't think it would be that much easier to find sealed.

oh well, ill just keep mine then i guess. LOL

Super Mario Brothers is the most common sealed Black Box game. That doesn't by any means make it super common, but when compared to others like DK Jr. Math, Clu Clu Land, and Popeye with only a couple (if any) copies known to exist sealed it fails in comparison.
