Any stores where you can still preorder Xbox 360

I am looking to get the Xbox 360 when it comes out. Ive tried a few stores near me and every place is not accepting pre-orders anymore. Do you guys/ gals know anyplace that may still be preorders? Does Target, Kmart take preorders??

I have been told any stores still taking pre-orders are pre-ordering for a later date. I do not know what date that would be, certainly it was stated not to be the release date. So even if available, it will be a delay most likely.

If you've got any Game Crazy stores, I'd suggest trying them. They aren't launch day systems, but you might be able to snag one there froma second shipment.

Target/Wal-mart/Meijer/K-Mart are going to be first-come, first-serve. I can almost guarantee that.

Best Buy might do the pre-order thing, as I saw a huge pre-order setup for the X360 games(but no systems).

If you can camp out for a system on launch day, it's actually kinda fun. I did it for a PS2 and I had a blast.

Yea I might have to wait it line at a store on launch day. Im trying to avoid it the weather in the end of Nov in New England usually sucks balls. I searched for every store near me that would sell it and couldnt find anything online. So far I have visited these sites:

sears
comp usa

game stop

ritz camera
wal mart
kmart
amazon.com
blockbuster
Sam goody
Bjs

This weekend, I am going to go to the physical stores and see if I can preorder any of them!

i think i am going to go to Walmart on the 22nd, very early in the morning. The one near me is getting 10 for the costumers. They are closing at their normal time on the 21st.

Your best bet....
Do not go to a store where you can trade in used games.
Those will already be flooded with pre orders...
GO to a BEST BUY on the release date and be thier when the doors open.

Alot of people choose to trade in older games and systems instead of paying cash and whatnot... so you have to find
a place that's just gonna sell them when they are released.
I have 3 friends that work at a best buy and 1 that
works at a walmart that will put a foot on an xbox 360 for me when it gets to the store.
Im gonna buy 3 , use one , give one to my kid, hold on to
one and sell it at the mall for $500 right before xmas
when they are sparse.

Remember how everybody went crazy to get a PSP
and 2 days later they had a few hundred just chillin
on the shelf at walmart? hahah thats what people get
for over reacting on the preorders.
I was able to just walk right in and buy 2.

Walmart gets WAY more customers/traffic in general, and microsoft knows this...
They will be shipping alot of units to walmart no doubt.

Anyone else have any ideas or lives in MA/NH that knows someone that could reserve one for me? Thanks for all the help guys!

I was lazy plus low on spending funds back when I had a good opportunity to preorder. So now I'll be camping out...where? I dunno just yet. Good thing the weather shouldn't be too bad here.

It depends, If they came out with a 2D splatterhouse 4, Id stand in a blizzard to be able to get it at launch.


I had to drive to MASS to purchase my first sony playstation on launch date because they were sold out everywhere.
