QUAKE 4 IS RELEASED

I just got back from EB with my Q4 , I bought the regular
set because , well if your here on a game site and don't
already have Quake 2 with all the mods on your PC or own the game,
somethings wrong with you ... Anyways the game either comes multidisc regular cdrom or a collectors set with
one single DVD.
Im about to install it now and start blasting stroggs away like it's my job or something.

Meh, you didnt buy it yet huh?
I can see why people would be soured after Quake 3, but
this one takes place after Quake 2 , and we all know
how long Quake 2 held it's ground for years.

It looks WAY better than Doom 3.
"Im gonna need a better video card" was the quote of the
day at the game store lol.

I got one of those FX 5500 Nvidia GeForce cards
with 256megs and the game put the machine to
a crawl on higher rez's
It recommends you use 500megs or better for that
on the video card itself...

Yea I need to upgrade as well. I got FEAR comming in the mail sometime tomarrow, and that game itself will be pushing my computer to the limits. Quake4 will kill it!

Quake 4 wont kill it, it will run but man ...
imagine DOOM 3 but 2X the load on your machine.

matter of fact, if you do get Quake 4 get the SINGLE DVD
version because it sucked installing it from 4 cd's.
