Lets see the f*****g bad-assed titles that were released today -
The Warriors
F.E.A.R
Shadow of the Colossus
Quake 4
Age of Empires 3
and T.H.A.W (Tony Hawks Amercian Wasteland - They're getting creative with the abbreviations. I'll give 'em that...)
Any others I may of missed? Anyone?
Did anyone pick up a new release today? I got "The Warriors".
I'll probaly get F.E.A.R this weekend.

Yes. I'm VERY interested in that game. I wonder if you can have liquor fueled sexual romps in it?
Remember when Playmakers got cancelled... because it was too unrealistic? LOL I'm glad this game will "keep it real." 8-)
Anyway, I really like the concept of Blitz: The League and I'm very interested in it. Someone who gets it, please write your thoughts here!

My bad - thought that was next week. Same with Fire Emblem.

Yeah, and the remake of Wild Arms was SUSPOSED to come out today -- but guess what? It got delayed AGAIN! :P No big shock there, right? LOL
I'm also very curious to hear how Blitz is.
My next game buy -- Civ 4 for the PC. :D

I just beat F.E.A.R.
Seriously, buy it now.
Just another reason why games like Halo 2 suck.

I heard you need a really good pc to play it. But then, people keep saying you need a really good one to play half life 2 when it runs fine on my 512Mb RAM and 64Mb video card. I say "fine" but it probably has a fairly low frame rate.
I still can't work out how to bring the dev console up. I know you have to enable it in the keyboard settings then press the ~ key, but that's above # so I'd have to press shift which is used for sprint so it doesn't work. Any ideas, anyone?

Half-Life 2 ran superbly on my very under-powered PC (AMD 2100+, Radeon 9800 PRO 128MB, 1.5GB RAM - though, at the time, it was merely 512MB). The F.E.A.R demo didn't quite warm to my set-up as well, though. It doesn't look any better than Doom 3, and that ran perfectly as well. I'm very tempted to buy this on Friday, but I'll probably wait for a patch or two... or three.

The final game is alot more optimized than the demo was, so you might have better luck. Waiting for some patches isn't a bad idea anyways.
But, you won't regret the purchase. Fantastic game.

Thanks for the heads-up, Gray. Now that Civilization IV won't be available to buy in Europe until November the 4th, I think I'll pick F.E.A.R up. I need a new PC game badly.

I'll eventually pick up Shadow, and FEAR. And Quake 4. And the warriors depending on what I hear about it. Oct-Nov have some really awesome games this year.
