first many thanks to anagrama and Hydr0x for sending me the style table.
a few questions:
- as we don't have a genre field in our database we just fill out the style, right?
- how do you classify a motorbike racing game (like Ducati World). Should it go under "Motocross/Cycle" (does cycle stand for bicycle or for a motorbike?) or under "Racing Misc" (which is pretty vague).
- do you also use "Simulation Misc" for the various football manager games?
that's all for now :D

Yup - the Genre is pulled through automatically (though the database still displays them as Style/Genre rather than Genre/Style, for some reason, which can look a little odd).

For any standard motorbike racer, I'd put them under Motocross/Cycle. The Misc categories are usually for those odd titles that don't quite fit into any of the others.

Hmm, not too sure. Maybe a new Sports/Management category would be more appropriate?

yes, I also thought about the "Sports/Management" category as "Realtime Strategy" or "Resource Management" aren't appropriate either LOL
No more questions now 8-)

about management, well, honestly, i have like a dozen "missing" genres i'd like to see, but with the DP store i guess we'll have to wait a while until those are added
one thing i do is: if no genre really fits, leave it blank, better than sth wrong

Well, for now, I'd probably put them under either Sports/Misc or Simulation/Misc.
