did iridion ever come out on the GBC?
ive seen screen shots and a mention that it was canned but im still wondering - well, i should say hopeing becasue the screen shots look awsome
by the way has anyone tried iridion 2 on the GBA - holy crap thats one nice shooter

I can't confirm, but i'd bet good money that Iridion never came out for the Gameboy Colour. This is the first I've heard of it, actually.
I do remember when the original GBA game came out, and no mention was made whatsoever of a GBC prequel.
By the way... Iridion 2 is far superior to the original Iridion for the GBA. The first game was more of a technical showcase than anything. Part 2 ditched the awkward perspective and added real gameplay.

First I've heard of it too. I bought the original GBA game, and I only heard of it being a debut title.

Looks too much like R-Type DX. I can see why it was dropped. I'll have to add that to the Rumor Mill section of the guide and hope a proto dump turns up at some point.
