Why sell the game for a penny?

I'll buy any games you don't want for a penny each. LOL

Haha. Actually, this sounds like something that would be fun to own. I'd frame it and stick it in the game room.

Uh, is it really, I mean really, necessary to take your buisness elsewhere over a penny?

I mean, it's a friggen penny.

This happened at Gamestop one time after buying a memory card. However, I got a shiny new penny instead of a Gamebuck.

He probably bought something and the change left over from the credit was a penny, its really not that big a deal, once you have store credit or trade in credit it has to stay that way, down to the last penny.[/b]

I guess it's the disgust. The service isn't the greatest, it's funny to think you have a receipt for .01 of a gamebuck. I've been repressing my intolerance towards stupidity and "deals" since they dropped all the classic games. And since I live in Texas, it's hot and humid in the summer. There are kids who ride their bikes up there and come inside to cool off. When I get there right after work sometimes, the store has a certain oder like I played basketball all afternoon but forgot to put the left guard on and then mix it with the new game scent. I'm in transition to buying online only me thinks.

You know what???
I think I 'm getting old...

I hate stores that have to do that. It's corporates way of keeping customers coming back to the store over and over again. Most companies, if you have less than $1-$2 on your gift card or merchandise credit, you get cash for it, but many stores (Toys R Us included) keeps the money on the card down to the LAST CENT and you can't turn it in for cash, even if it's only a penny. I guess at the cashier's discretion, they can give you the change if it's small enough that it won't matter that much if they're drawer is under, BUT corporate makes it that way. But, I get a lot of gift cards that are only worth between 1 and 35 cents and I just hoarde them and eventually use them. It's very little but it's SOMETHING off. LOL.

The funny thing is, printing the due bill (employee time, ink and paper) for 1 penny probably cost more than 1 penny
