It's been five days now but I just got around to getting all of the pics sorted and taken and the stuff put away now, here are my finds, post yours too if you attended

Free Cube box, boxed TI99 and Aquarius $5 each

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0429.jpg
All of the disc games were free, Aquarius game I traded for, and the N64 games were $2 each.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0438.jpg
I bought a humungous bin of handhelds, plus some misc Tiger electronics ones from others, I paid $18 total, the Virtual Boy was free but is missing a controller and a visor.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0437.jpg
The Wireless joysticks and trackball were a few bucks a piece the Turbo Booster and Stick and others cost me about $40 in trade bait. The Sega Channel Adapter was a buck, and the Nintendo bed sheets were only $5

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0436.jpg
I got a pile of demos for various systems plus a few free loose games for a whopping $5

[/img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0435.jpg
The boxed Elimonater cost me $10

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0434.jpg
This whole lot cost me roughly $50 the bottom row is all Colecovision games, a console I have been sorely neglecting, I finally got Wally Bear, and now have a few Astrocade games to play.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0432.jpg
The 2600 selector cost me $14, Fire Command cost me $60, The box for the Grafx was $5, and the Menacer was $10

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0431.jpg
The two Sega Cd consoles were $10 total from Jeff20, one works the other is dead, the demo PS2 boxes filled with promo goodies were free.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0430.jpg
I traded my mint copy Xenogears guide for 10 boxed games these 3DO games accounted for 7 of them the other three were Sega CD games I needed for my collection, both neglected systems I collect for.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCF0428.jpg
Here is a bunch of various games that I bought, most of which were $5 each, I paid $20 for the PAL Mean 18 Ultimate Golf, the F1 race GB game and the Cliff Hanger were free.

I think that about sums me up There were a few Turbo Grafx games that I got for cheap but I didn't take a pic of plus few other misc. stuff too. I honestly had the biggest heap of stuff out of anyone, I brought $300 with me sold a bunch of stuff and spent about $280 and left with about $65, I came fully prepared for the big haul. I had a blast this was one of the best times of my life, and probably the best parties yet. Since I'm close to Sean's Store I will be saving up another few hundred bucks and go back and clean him out some more as there was a ton more that I wanted.

Share your finds too.

Later :D

Personal review:
From a body count perspective, it was fantastic as I met a lot of people I didn't know / didn't get a chance to meet / was too nervous last year to mingle with.

On a "Item Get!" perspective, it was oddly enough both awesome and a smidgen depressing. I scored some great stuff (Goodwill Hunter is like my new roaming merchant mart) but noticed a distinct bit of lack in the current, newer gen stuff. 90% of my acqusitions came from Sean's back room, which is still by and far the greatest adventure a video gamer can take. You know you have dug deep when even Sean himself looks at yoru pile and goes, "Where did you find that?" LOL

Thanks to back room access and the use of his LAN room, I was able to finally sort out the mysterious Tiger Woods with/without South Park issue on the PlayStation, which unintentionally provided Joe with a free photo op. ^^;

Lack of next gen stuff aside, it was a virtual smorgasborg for ancient and really oddball stuff, including quite a few things I never knew existed. BuyAtari even let me hold one of the Lightspan adapters I need. I'll get that from him yet. ;)

Overall, a great, rocking time was had by all, and truth be told, sitting on the floor listening to Sean, John, and Joe trade stories was the perfect ending to the night. CHi-Town 2006 can't get here fast enough.

Just bring your PlayStation demos! I need'em! :D

I'm from the Rockford area, and I'm not super familiar with Chicago...

How close is that to Harlem and Addison, or the HIP? My company has an office on Addison near Harlem that I will be at next weekend. If I end up having time, I'd like to check out the store. :)

It's almost right across the street from the HIP, about a block or two down from Burger King.

I've passed that place a few times, never bothered going though.

I'm at the HIP all the time now that they are testing the new Dragon Ball Z arcade game as well as the only location test in the country for Tekken 5 dark ressurection which I have litterly played almost 1000 matches in.
