pioneer laseractive cd reader problem

the cd reader of my laseractive is almost dead and I need to buy another one, some games are freezing in loading

I only can use cd reader of another cld a100 or I can use the cd reader of another model in my laseractive? Maybe the alternative can be cheaper

In theory, according to parts.pioneerelectronics.com, you should be able to use the same laser (Pickup Assembly as Pioneer calls it) from any of these players:

CLD E2000
CLD S201 <- probably the most common
CLD S250
CLD S303
CLD V111
CLD V121G
CLD V2600 <- ~2ndmost common
CLD V350
CLD V370
CLD V730
CLD V740
CLD V750

The ones I've marked are common in the US anyway.
