Does anyone know what N64 games were released as a Player's Choice version (i.e. games that sold a million copies or more)? Anyone have a list or know where I can find one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am looking for a definitive list too, as they are part of what I am going for, for my complete N64 collection. I think they are classified as "Million Sellers" as opposed to Players Choice. If you ever find a list, please toss it my way. I'll list some from memory:

Positive 100% on:
1080 Snowboarding
Diddy Kong Racing
GoldenEye
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
Mario Kart 64
Super Mario 64

Not positive about existance:
Cruisn' USA (no idea)
Kobe Bryant NBA Courtside (pretty sure)
Star Wars Shadows of the Empire (no idea)
Pokemon Stadium (pretty sure)

On another note, here is a list games that sold over 1 million copies from wikipedia:
* Super Mario 64 (11.62 million)
* The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (7.6 million)
* GoldenEye 007 (7.4 million)
* Mario Kart 64 (4.8 million)
* Donkey Kong 64 (2.87 million)
* Pokémon Stadium (2.74 million)
* Super Smash Bros. (2.74 million)
* Diddy Kong Racing (2.5 million)
* Star Fox 64 (2.4 million)
* Pokémon Snap (1.91 million)
* Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (1.73 million)
* Wave Race 64 (1.7 million)
* The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (1.63 million)
* WCW/nWo Revenge (1.62 million)
* Banjo-Kazooie (1.61 million)
* Star Wars Episode I Racer (1.49 million)
* Cruis'n USA (1.48 million)
* Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (1.4 million)
* Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (1.38 million)
* Perfect Dark (1.29 million)
* Turok 2: Seeds of Evil (1.14 million)
* WCW vs. nWo: World Tour (1.13 million)
* Yoshi's Story (1.1 million)
* Mario Party 2 (1.1 million)
* 1080° Snowboarding (1.07 million)
* Mario Party (1.07 million)
* Namco Museum 64 (1.04 million)
* WWF No Mercy (1 million)

I can confirm that Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire was released as a PC title as I have it.

Thanks for the lists and the input guys. It would be great if more people would post the ones that they actually have like Gimbal did. I could put together a good list this way. So, by all means, list away... :-P

Hey guys. Problem solved!! I talked to a guy at NOA and he said that the info on which N64 titles was on his computer but that he had no way to get me a list except by going through the N64 titles one at a time. This would obviously be impossible for him to do. He suggested that I email customer service and ask for a list of the N64 Player's Choice titles, as they might have access to a complete list. I sent the email even though I haven't gotten much help from Nintendo about older products in the past. Well sure enough (to my surprise) I got an awesome email reply today...

So there it is...a N64 Player's Choice list from the source itself...NOA. I wanted to post this since I thought some of you guys might be interested. I feel pretty sure that the list is accurate, but just for completness sake, if anyone has any N64 PC titles that are NOT on this list, please post them here (with pics if you can). Thanks again for the help.

Heh, I emailed them today and got the same response...

I haven't seen half of these. I wonder if some were printed and left in the factory unreleased.

I know that Crusin' USA is, and so is Shadows of the Empire (I have them both loose, and they both have the Million Seller Award on them). Hope that helps.

RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!

So... I just got in a shipment of cartridges for the GOAT Store, and I found one that I've never seen before...

A copy of Zelda Ocarina of time with the "Player's Choice: Million Seller" logo on the label itself. In that big list of games Nintendo provided (which ironically doesn't have Zelda), I have never seen this. Is this the only cart like it?

Thanks!

Zelda is in the list above...

Read it again, it's in the middle of the list...

"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time "

:( Duh. I always forget that it's labeled either Legend, Zelda or Ocarina...

But still -- is it the only one with the logo on the cartridge label itself? I believe I bought 007 as a Million Seller, and it didn't have it.

Well I love that Nintendo would give you that. Kinda shows that they do care.

In Europe Snowboard Kids was already re-released as a Player's Choice game. I wonder why it hasn't been in the US.

THis is a little off topic, but, does Anyone know if those n64 controllers that you see in a hotel are rare?

The one's that have extra buttons on them, like Order, Room Service, and Online.

I beleive they are all black with a crazy long cord that has a phone jack in the end.

Not that i "commandeered" one or anything....

Mario 64 and Mario Kart have the PC on the label. Perhaps your Goldeneye was part of the initial run when Nintendo was just pushing out older, already-labeled stock?
