Hey gang!

Well, my cable company finally picked up G4, and I've been geeking out quite nicely -Thank you. I'm getting a kick out of some of the interviews, as I can see they were filmed on the CGE floor.

Anyway, I'm loving watching Starcade again (after a 17 year drought) and it dawned on me that CGE would be PERFECT for such a competition or series of competitions. All those classic arcade games fired up and ready for a round of Starcade action. Play it just like the TV show with bonus rounds and all. Perhaps Geoff Edwards would come out of retirement to host it. betcha G4 would cover it.

Anyway, I'm just brainstorming, but I think that'd be a hoot to bring back our favorite TV arcade game show in the one place in the world where it could be appreciated and actually pulled off - the biggest annual classic game arcade in the US - if not the world!

Wow what a great idea Sniderman :) I'd imagine the competition and level of gameplay at the CGE would be pretty hardcore as well (as opposed to a lot of the Starcade episodes).. but then again we've had 20 years to get acquainted with the games. :P

I won't be going to CGE but that's something I'd love to hear about, or perhaps see some video of...

For those of you who missed it in the Video Games Forum, here's a link to some awesome big news:

And another note, keep an eye out for the Red Nintendo TV in the CGE Museum... Starcade episodes will be playing all day on it. :)
