Blockbuster new PSX games $2

I didn't see this elsewhere so heads up...my local BB is selling brand new sealed PSX games for $2. Most are of the greatest hits variety, but still...2 bucks! I picked up Namco Museums 1+3, GTA 2, Blaster Master, and some James Bond game. I probably already have a couple of those, but...2 bucks!

I don't know if this is just a local thing or what, but I will be doing a little Blockbuster hunting before football tomorrow.

I'm almost sure it isn't a local thing. It never really is with Blockbusters. And I know for a fact they've been marking down their new PS1 games steadily over the past 2 years.
In fact, I was able to attain a greatest hits Castlevania SoTN for $4.99 new about 3 months ago. $2 sounds about right since they're trying to phase out old inventory for the upcoming new systems.

My local Blockbuster is doing this as well, but unfortunately all they had were crap games like Dukes of Hazzard.

My local one only had GTA II and FF tactics left... And just to think how much Tactics used to go for before the GH re-release. $2 for FF Tactics is about as good of a deal value-wise as it gets it gaming, seeing how you can play it for dozens (if not hundreds) of hours just developing your characters.

If my "local" BB wasn't 45 minutes away I'd go check it out right away. Guess I'll wait until next Friday when I'm in that area. $2 for crappy sealed GH games is still an awesome deal to me.

I visited 5 or 6 stores today but only one had them. I still got some decent games for 2 bucks, but only 8 games...I was thinking 80 (counting doubles for trades, friends, gifts and stuff).
