Has the 360 really been delayed so MS can compete with Sony's PS3 in the Spring? I kept hearing people mention it at work today and was wondering since I couldn't find any articles relating to it..

Microsoft would never delay the 360 on purpose -- as it stands they're going to get at least six months worth of sales, competition free.

My guess is, the Xbox 360 will be in stores in November even if Microsoft employees have to assemble them by hand using off the shelf parts from Radio Shack.

my take is that the PS3 and revolution are waiting for the 360 to come out so they can analyze it and then try to release a better console with things that the xbox 360 doesnt have. Just like how the Saturn was released and then owned by the Playstation.

If by analyzing you mean see the sales and such okay, because we pretty much know every little thing about the 360 by now.

That, and they want to market themselves at completely different time periods.
I read an article saying that Nintendo will probably delay the Revolution until holiday of next year so everybody who wanted a 360, allready has a 360 and can move on to something else.
