It's just another one of those 'treasure possibility' ventures. There are many places in the United States that let tourists pan for gold in small streams. You know how much gold these people actually find? Not enough to cover the gas money they paid to get there. This auction appears to be the same. The guy says the stuff came from an abandoned mine... there's a reason it became abanoned.

Amethyst = semi-precious gemstone...aka purple quartz. Very common and not worth hardly ANYTHING unless it's a HUGE one. I've seen a $3000 piece of Amethyst, it was bigger than my torso. Not an expensive gem. And diamonds are worth about as much as gravel, so if they're throwing a 1/3 carat uncut diamond, figure it's VERY low quality (lots of carbon and imperfections in it) and that if you DID try to cut it to a gemstone quality, it would be almost invisibly small. Basically, you're getting some pretty, worthless rocks for $16...a fair price, but nothing amazing.

Misleading too. They say a dynamite crate full , and then they say in a bag. I'd pay 15.99 for an old dynamite crate @_@
