I seen a 36" RCA tv today at a local pawn shop and on the bottom of the tv it says "XBOX Ready" anyone know what that is about. It was actually on the tv not a sign the owner put on.

Its a regular RCA TV model from about 3 years ago. The Xbox port is just an extra set of coponent inputs.

Wrong. You can buy a bigscreen by a shit company and end up with a very bad picture. Research, my friend, research.
As far as the "Xbox Ready," there was a special wire made for it called the "VPort" or something of that nature that you have to order directly from RCA. I dunno what those cables are comparable to, but I'd imagine, as stated, that it's component. I think the cable to hook into the VPort was around $30 or so. Why they didn't throw it in with the TV is beyond me, but if you're looking for rare Xbox paraphenalia, that ain't a bad place to start I guess.

Yeah i agree it does seem pretty stupid to market the TV as XBOX ready and then not include the cable you need, especially since it the only god damn TV on the market that uses it. It's not like it was a special hook-up like HDMI, it's just a god damn scam.
