Did any company make a version of Pac-Man in first-person view?

i think there was at least one unlicenced kind freeware kind

i think the packman was transparent so you could see infront of him

There's no real way for it to work though. You need to see all the screen at once to know the locations for each ghost.

Map at the bottom or top of the screen showing positions of all the ghosts/dots. HUD =)

It'd be more fun not knowing. Stumble around blindly - hoping there's not a ghost 'round the next corner.

Then you'll be playing the map and not the FPS sections. It would defeat the purpose of putting the game in the perspective.
