I sold a loose one on ebay with three games for $2550 a couple of years ago and around the same time I heard about a private trasaction for a boxed on for about $4000. SInce then though one or two have sold on ebay for around $1500 I think.

There is a busted one on ebay rigth now spelled ADVENTURE VISION (2 words not one) thats going cheap.

The one in the completed auction search got 700 something with 1 game.

Prices can only drop once the small market for $2000 AV's disappears. I've seen a number NOT sell at around $2k with all the games.

Remember: SSPACEDORK does not set the prices. Just because he paid $2.5k doesn't mean everyone else will.

I didn't want to start a new thread, so what are they going for now, and where's the best place to find one? I will soon be in the market for one, but don't think a boxed one is worth much more than a few thousand. I mean, it's not THAT rare. It was marketed in stores and advertised accross the country in magazines.

Too few auctions/sales to assess accurately. BUT, I would say a loose unit without any games isn't worth more than $1k. But a loose unit with all 4 games could get $1500-$2500. Which is weird, because a complete in box set of all 4 games and the system could get $2k-$3k, not that much more. A broken system should sell for under $500, more like $200.

Those are good prices, I would pay that amount. Glad the hear the $5,000 insanity appeares to be over.

Sorry to re-bump an ancient thread yet again, but what's one worth these days? I haven't seen one on eBay in eons.

I've never personally seen an Adventurevision in my life, but I have heard of and seen some sales of them online.

I would say less than $1,200 for a working unit in decent condition. The prices of pre-NES things have fallen in the last six years. The hot tickets now are 3rd and 4th generation items - NES, Genesis, SNES and that ilk.
