Gameboy Advance flash linker bridge? Does it really work

I bought a GBA flash linker when they first came out a long time ago, but hesitated to buy the bridge because I already had a bunch of Bung XChangers and stuff. Well, GBA flash is going down in price, and those old flash carts are getting old and worn. So, now would be perfect to upgrade before DS takes over. Does anyone know if the bridge adapter works? You know, the thing thats supposed to allow using the GBA flash cards on the GB/GBC. I have heard conflicting stories. It would be nice to get a bridge and a CF or SSD GBA flash, that way it'll last a very long time.

I've wondered the same thing. I've also wondered what software and hardware do you use to load the games...the GBC flash software and hardware or the GBA flash ssoft/hardware.

apparently it's only compatible with the Flash Advance, Flash Xtreme and Flash2Advance cartridges. That's how they're advertised anyway, and that might be becasue of Visoly, who made the first flash carts (and the bridge). That doesn't make sense, because GBA cartridges don't really variate too much physically, or do they? The flash chip might be different, but it seems like all of the carts are pretty much using the same wiring. Hmm...
Trying to find a bridge now for under $20, to test it out.

Oh, ok, so if I have a Flash2Advance, I'll use the Flash2Advance linker software to load .gb and .gbc filess? I Wasn't even aware it could do that, as I thought it only handled .gba files.

That's what they say. If not, LittleWriter or another flash writer program will probably work.
