I have had a Sonic bookmark for forever, way before I knew who he was. On the top of it, it was READ, in the middle is Sonic, and on the bottom it says "It's Way Past Cool!". So I was wondering, where did it come from, and does anyone else have one? It's an official Sega product because in small print it says " Sonic The Hedgehog, all related characters, and indicia, are trademarks of SEGA. 1994 SEGA. All Rights Reserved." Anyone know where this came from?

I totally had that when I was younger, and totally rocking sweet short 90's shorts.
But yeah, I can't remember where I got it from. I know we had these 'book' club things every month, that we could order books from, and I would always order Sonic books. Maybe it came with that.

Maybe so. My mom used to order me books from a company, but I never remember her getting anything Sonic related.

I've got the same one! Its even been modded with a custom-designed Sonic course displayed on the back--signed by the original artist.
If you're wondering where it came from, I got mine from the school library.

That's exactly where it came from, I have 2 or 3 of those and quite a few books.

I just tried to search on Ebay with no luck
I believe they were available from the Scholastic Book Club. I had one and loved it, but it seems to have disappeared. :(

I would guess a book fair (my school always had those and character bookmarks were common) Scholastic Book Club, or a bookstore. How come I don't remember ever seeing this when I was younger???????

On a slightly unrelated note, I have a Sonic & Knuckles Trapper Keeper form 1994 and a Sonic Mug I got in Portugal. When heated, some black disappears and you can see some baddies. It totally kicks ass.

I guess I could have gotten it at a bookfair at school, but since I'm only 13, I wasn't in school when it was copy righted. Maybe I got it at a public library or the school had some left over. Thanks for the info guys 8-) .

God bless the sonic bookmarks, for the Goosebumps novels were too large to knock out in one sitting.
