The game in my sig which caught your eye is Shadowgate, for the NES. Kemco-Seika made 2 other ICOM Simulation games like Shadowgate for the NES, which you may have actually owned instead of Shadowgate: Deja Vu (A Detective mystery) and Uninvited (A Haunted House adventure).
By the way, nice avatar. ;) Foamy can be pretty funny at times (I particularly like his rant re: reality tv, and his comments about maple syrup).

nope it was Shadowgate that i had i knew the name started with a S.
Foamy is my lord and master (the pic is from one of the foamy rants) ... i am geting some foamy cult cards for when i go to Classic Gameing things :)
