I’m sure many of you out there have won something for a penny. But this scenario is just hilarious! LOL You see, I won the following NES item for a penny from a local ebayer –

This nasty thing is I emailed him before the auction ended and arranged to meet for a “local pickup” thus avoiding shipping costs !!!! I felt really bad for the seller as he’s a newbie so I offered him $5 to deliver the item to me.
Can you imagine if I held him to the penny! “Thanks for the item… oh….. errr….. do you have change for a dollar”

If he were close enough that you can pick up the item you may have been able to work out a trade with him for some of his other stuff. Great deal though.

I actually won an item for 49 cents with free shipping. I have no idea why the auction had "free shipping" on it, because the seller had several copies of the game I bought and they all had a price for shipping.
I did actually get the game too. 8-)

Actually, about five years ago, I bought several Odyssey 2 games from a seller in the same town. As above, he agreed to local pickup before the auctions ended, and I won them all for a penny each. I showed up that night with a dime and three pennies. I'm obviously a jerk.

You guys are so mean.. I would start crying if I sold my one cent items to you guys :( Its actually good stuff u guys got, too..
Anyway, I won plenty of auctions for a penny that has "Info" for FREE XBOXES and stuff like that u see all the time.. BTW that stuff is a scam, dont buy into it.. Its sad when an auction for this secret info goes for 50 dollars or something
anyway, yeah.. it wasnt shipped to me.. but emailed
I won a sega cd system on ebay for a dollar once.. True story..

Back when I use to collect cds I had about 10 differn't people end auctions early and just ship me the cd's for free. Most of the e-mails were "I know this item isn't going to end for more then (insert less then $1 amount) so im just going to end it and ship it to you for free"
I have that keychain set though. Its kinda cool, but the pictures deffinitly make it look cooler then it actually is. I won it in a claw game in japan. 1st try too. And I rubbed it in my brothers face and then he went and won one on his first try too.
I won a penny. Yeah, one of those auctions. I wanted to see if they'd actually send it. I sent one cent via Paypal, and never got my penny. ;_;
I didn't bother leaving a neg, heh.
