View Full Version : SERIOUS problem with the Retrogaming Arcade...

Alright so I just played a game of James Bomb and got a score of 23,000. I was quite happy because this beat the highest score and I was going to get the trophy. All of a sudden this page comes up that says something along the lines of "Sorry, you must use the activity page and not link to the game directly." Now I did use the activity page, I selected the game from the pull down list on the front page of the arcade. So why didn't my score register?

This is actually the second time this has happend to me. This exact same thing happend to me yesterday with another game, which I choose in the same manner described above. I'm not angry with the staff in the least, I know they didn't deliberately do this or anything and I know they do an amazing job around here. But it's pretty annoying when you think you get the highest score and all of a sudden it doesn't count for some reason. I'm not saying I want my score put in there because that wouldn't be fair for me, there's no record of my score nor any proof that I got a score of 23,000.

If someone could fix this then it would be greatly appreciated! Is there anyone else out there that has had this problem? I can't see me being the only one that's gotten shafted by this horrible error! :/

I know you have to have your settings set to automatically log you in, or you will time out while you are playing.

Happened to me once after cleaning out my cookies.

You're not, that's why there's a dozen topics on it from other people who have been robbed from achieving arcade trophies by the same issue. Check the box to keep yourself logged in and you shouldn't have this problem.

After 15 minutes or something like that, the system automatically logs you out unless you tell it to keep you logged in.

I'm going to add this to the FAQ later this week. I know it sucks to play really well and not have the board save your high score.
