I got this email from him:
i would like to purchase a final fantasy ii game from you, i have purchased from you before, but the site has changed a little.. i dont have any nintendo games to send you, and was wondering if i was to send you 35 dollars like before, if you could cover the game cartridge for me.. let me know.. and i will send payment.. thanks..
My reply:
Hi.
I'm sorry. But I can no longer sell NES reproductions to you. I'm very well aware of what you do with them. Find another sucker to sell you reproductions so that you can rip off people on eBay.
His reply (in 2 messages):
man, what i do with the games is not really any of your business.. you are just pissed, cause im making more money than you.. Plus, i see people selling the games on ebay that you sell all the time.. there is a final fantasy 2 on there right now that is your game.. You are just a prick.. What do you care anyway.. just sell me the damned game..

plus, how is it ripping people off on ebay when they are willing to pay for them you stupid fucker.. obviously people want them.. i cant help it that they pay big money for them.. Not my fault.. I've had game lots on my watch list that mysteriously ended, and its always him. Every auction he finds, if its a new user, he sends them a shitty offer, for example, 80 NES games with a final fantasy, bubble bobble, etc in it, he will offer them 80 dollars. And some actually take it. One person actually responded to one of his offers and posted it in her auction---"NO I WILL NOT SELL YOU 40 games for 40 dollars, 420pinballer" HAHA
I guess if people are stupid enough, then whatever, I only grab good deals if they post their own buy it now, I dont talk them into it

Really, I don't see how he can think that will help him get you to sell a game to him. What a turkey. You should agree to sell him a game - in fact, maybe several. Then, send him a bunch of carts without the games actually programmed in. Oh, the comedy that will follow.

This email is no surprise based on the response I got when I best offered his auction for $25. Does he honestly think you'll cave when he calls you a prick?
The last bit was priceless. 'He's everywhere and you can't stop him'. Right.
So am I and he can't stop me. Someone let me know next time he has a repro up. I'll BIN it and BIN it and BIN it with a new fake account each time until he gets the point and stops trying to sell them. Leonk does a nice thing for a low price, and it's bullshit someone would rip into him like that.

I agree with him that he can do whatever he wants with them (atleast i hope he writes its a repro), but the way he replied to you is a reason by its own not to sell to him.

I dunno if you watch any fan subbed Animes, but before they begin, just after the intro scene there is normally a disclaimer saying "If you bought this, you were ripped off"
Maybe you should add a splash screen jsut before the game boots up saying somethign along the lines of:
"This Game was bought for $40 from nesreproductions.com, if you paid any more for it than that via eBay or private sales, please go leave some damn negative feedback, or kick that private seller in the nads!"
Im guessin youll be able to do this with your skills right?

Well, here in Toronto, the retro gaming scene is on FIRE.. common games (like SMB2 or 3 which are needed for most reproductions are selling for over 20$!!)
I can no longer find cheap donors.
I've updated www.nesreproductions.com to list good donor boards next to every game. So enjoy.
