This is the disc that upgrades standard Win 98 to SE. It CANNOT be just a Win 98 SE disc. I was a specific disc for the sole purpose of upgrading 98. It's a pain in the ass to find and to use apparently, and I need this to run certain stuff on my laptop wirelessly.

All the 98SE updates should still be on the MS site. Just download all of 'em and install.

Can't the full disc be used as an upgrade disc too? I thought they were basically the same - I know you can even install clean from the upgrade disc.

No. I have the SE disc. It gives you a pop-up that says you have the wrong disc and installation can't continue. I'm not wiping the hard drive just to use wireless. I'll just buy the disc.

PM sent, i have a few dozen disks laying around. I'm never going to use them, i'd rather see one of them go to a good home.
