Gamecube deal at Meijer

Just saw the ad for new Gamecube (any color, no mention if the free pack in game counts or not) for only $99.99 but it's Saturday only from 6:00 am to midnight. If you are near a Meijer and you were planning on one soon, you better go as the stock is limited (10,000 chainwide or about 50 per store) and they won't offer rainchecks. So you better go early.

I checked with Toys R Us, they won't price match because the ad is a special one day only sale and because Meijer aren't issuing raincheck. Other stores are probably like this so don't expect other store to accept the $99.99 deal.

If I wasn't a little short on moeny, I would be buying one tomorrow as a backup as my current GC is a little over a year old now. >:( Chaulk this to bad timing for me >:( >:(

I too would purchase a backup, but we have no Meijer's in Pittsburgh. Used to shop there every week when I lived in Ohio. Great damn store. I like em so much more than Walmart!

That's funny, I thought all dealers were prohibited from selling consoles
below the prices set by Nintendo, Sony, Msoft. All the stores in California
I see just advertise the set price with some extra goodies (memory card,
power strip, even saw a music CD thrown in once)

I saw this also and went and bought and extra cube got the platinum one.
Even better in addition to the $99 sale was 10% off all games and counsoles so i got it for $99 plus an extra 10% off. Also picked up dead to rights good game. :-D

My sister picked it up so she wouldn't have to come in my room to play animal crossing. Works for me!
