I've realized that I live ludicriously close to Indiana yet have never been there. My school is somehwhere in the range of 4 to 8 miles away from the border, but I've never really traveled through/explored Indiana...because I don't really know anything about Indiana...or more importantly if there are any good video gamestores near me in the state of Indiana. So...anybody have any suggestions? (hopefully something in eastern indiana...around the middle)

I'm not sure if it's close enough to your fair state, but check out Fort Wayne. The city is about a 2 hour drive from southwest Michigan. Anywho, in Fort Wayne there is a chain of game stores called McVan's. The first time I went there I was very impressed -- Imports, TurboGrafix, sealed n64 games etc. The place caters to both collectors and traders, which means the prices are pretty up there. However, they do very well for trades. Games like LoZLttP are worth quite a bit, and you can trade them almost directly for harder to find games. I hope this helped!
