hi, i just wanted to warn everyone about an ebay member with 2 accounts (mistypab) the notorious nintendo sniper has changed his user id to (kewlkittycat) probably because he found out about another nintendo forum posted this past summer warning people about his scam.. here is a link to an actual article from nes files about his scam. take a look
http://forums.nesfiles.com/viewtopic.php?t=1433&view=next
alos look at kewlkittycats recent buys it's disgusting. i'm guessing he uses that name so people think there dealing with a girl/women. it must be his wife/girlfriends name connected to her bank account. while his name is under his other account (discoungames) where he sells everything
So don't give this guy your hard earned money. he doesn't deserve it. all he does is snipe snipe snipe nintendo auctions (big or small) all day every day..
don't buy anything from this joker he is a real piece of work.
discountgames = overpriced games.. :angry:

He buys Nintendo lots and then resells them. Where's the crime?

If he/she lies about that games arent working its a scam, sort of.
But about sniping, nothing wrong with that as long as he/she pays. Of course, reselling is also perfectly legal.

This is the name of the game!!! Buy low and sell high. This can be achieved by buying lots and selling of the games individually!

I've been outbid by this person before, its irritating but from what I can see, they don't rip off people nearly as bad as other giant "power" sellers on ebay
They also bought a lot of games from me, paid in a day and didn't complain, what he/she does may not be "nice", but I don't see anything illegal, so there are worse people on there, they seem to have decent feedback on the selling account
Anyways, it is perfectly legal by Ebay rules to have multiple accounts, as long as you don't bid your own items

True. I am probably one of the most notorious snipers out there, and you wouldn't believe the grief I have had off one bidder this week because I sniped him out of a factory sealed Mario Kart 64... He's been badgering me all week to sell it to him.
I also get a lot of eMails from other bidders asking "How did you outbid me blah blah blah", and they send me abuse when I tell them how. It's NOT illegal, it's NOT against eBay rules, and everyone has access to the programs - All they have to do is search for them via Google.
I swear, I learnt the hard way, and after a few months of contantly losing out to snipers, or having to stay awake till all hours to put in a manual last minute bid, I just decided to take matters into my own hands and beat them at their own game and find me a sniping program.
I am also guilty of this "Crime" of buying bundles, splitting them, and reselling the games separately to make three to four times as much. Got to fund my game collection somehow!
It is also not against the rules or illegal to have more than one username, either linked to two separate bank accounts or otherwise. HOWEVER, it is both illegal AND immoral to have two for the sole purpose of bidding on your own items which you are selling.
I can see your point if that is indeed what this person is doing, but from what I can make out from your post, it isn't, and all he is guilty of is buying packages with one username, and selling off the spoils with the other.
I will also admit to having no less than five eBay user ID's. Two NARU'ed through no fault of my own; One solely for bidding; One solely for buying; And one secret spare one I keep for emergencies, just in case I lose one of the other two. I have never, and will never use these to do anything illegal or against the rules though, as eBay would swoop on me like a vulture.
I also have two usernames on VideoGameAuctions.com as well, for the same reasons mentioned above.

While it may be annoying to have someone outbid you on something you wanted, doesn't mean they are a scammer or doing anything illegal. You can't win 'em all you know.
I see no problem with the person having two accounts and re-selling the stuff they bought. I'm doing it right now, I bought a couple of smaller lots of SNES games and now I'm going to resell all of the games for more than what I paid for them... it's how people make money, and it's how I get extra cash to buy more games for my collection.
If he overprices his games after he buys them... then oh well I guess only the idiots or people who want those games will buy them... he's not forcing you to pay for any games he has listed.

.. ditto to what G-P said. That's MY story as well. I said if you can't beat 'em.. join 'em; and signed up for a sniping service. I USED to hate snipers.. now I'm one of them.
As for buying in lots.. I just don't do that. It's not worth my while to buy lots of usually loose cartridges as I'm a "completist". I buy my games one at a time as I desire them. If I had the time to resell though (I have a job); I would.. and see nothing wrong with that either.

Did any of you read the link in original post? The poster is not taking issue that he has separate accounts or that he buys in one and sells in the other. The issue is that he is buying lots of NES games (using an account with private feedback), and claiming that the majority of games are defective. He's probably swapping out his bad games with gullible sellers, and then selling on his other account.

I did not read the link, but I didn't think I would of had to, I thought infinitehuman was explaining what was happening in his post.
Well, then if that is the case then that guy is a scam artist, and will definately avoid him.

Just wondering if the poster has anything interesting to add as his other post was locked.
