my final question - i am assuming 2 days left is including today, thursday. I'm wondering if saturday evening (eastern time) would be too late to try and enter - just hoping i can send in a list after the VGExpo. If not - no big deal.

I don't think the e-mails to tell you who you're buying for will be done until after the deadline. We want to leave as much suspense as possible as to who gets who and if two people state they're sending their lists out on Saturday, well, they'd obviously be buying for each other using that method...not a lot of surprise for them come Christmas day (at least as far as who gets who). I think we can all wait a few more days to get going on this. :P

No one will be recieving any information until after Saturday. I might be able to do it on Sunday, but I'm not positive.

I guess If i were cool i might get selected.... but because for whatever reason i am denied (subjective "game" rules...kind of like Intelligent Design (btw an oxymoron if ever i heard of one)...being taught in Kansas...A one rule party even IF Without merit or Reproducible data... still rules...(not)

I'm sorry you're going to be bitter about it, but as I explained in emails, I don't have any way to validate any background info on you for buying, selling, trading, or even using eBay, and it makes me uneasy. To be blunt, I don't know you from a stranger I pass on the street, and I use those things to judge security for participation. As I also said, you're more then welcome to enter again next year, when you've got more history under your belt.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO BE MATCHED. It's not going to happen.

I posted previously that the matches are random. I split everyone into two groups based on shipping preference, and then I do random selection. It takes way too much time and effort to go through over fifty emails from fifty different people to try and match by what you have to give, or what you want to recieve.

I wanted to post this, as I'm getting a lot of requests for matching.

Wow, thanks for remembering man. I was able to get a great deal on some of the stuff on your list, so I was happy to do it.

I had a great time last year hunting for games and I went all out and got a bunch of stuff. too bad my person last year decided about a month later he didn't like video games anymore and sold them all right here on the DP boards. I know there is no way to predict these things so I won't let it stop me from going all out for whoever I get this year.
