Weekend Finds 11/5-6

FINALLY hit EB today, and they had a crap load of Dreamcast games, and so others. Here's what I got:

Decap Attack(GEN, Cart Only)
Brunswicks World Championship Bowling(SNES, cart only)
Black Bass(SNES, cart only)
Last Blade(DC, disk only)
Plasma Sword(DC, complete)
Demolition Racer(DC, complete)

For a total of 16.94 :-P .

Also there I pick out 3 DC games for my grandmato get me for Christmas. They were: Street Fighter 3: Double Impact, Marvel Vs. Capcom, and Toy Commander. Can't wait to play those :) .

Also, my mom picked me out some DS games for Christmas there, but I don't know what they are.

And at GameStop, I picked CT special Forces for GBA for 9$.

And I got a Nintendo post with the NES controller and "Out Of Control" written under it for 7$ at Hot Topic.

I got about 85 or so (I think) Sega Master System games off of Club Ninja a little while back. It was about a week ago, but DP was down so I hadn't posted yet. All games were boxed (or complete)... The box weighed about 35 pounds. @_@

I 'found' my dad walking through the door with a replacement slimline PS2 today for me. He said it was my 'real' b-day present (that was on the 25th). I told him I was having issues and trying to fix it, so he took something from that. Yay.

I found a somewhat beat up Mega Man X3 cart for $8 at a Gamecrazy this weekend. Decided I can wait for the oft-delayed Mega Man X compilation to come out though and Ebayed it for $60. :D

I dont think anybody here collects PC games but Im very happy to have come across this!

As soon as I ordered my official SEGA Saturn USB controller, I started looking for a good PC fighter. I found an old copy of Street Fighter 2 and thats as far as I got...until now. I found a double disc Samurai Shodown 2 & Fatal Fury 3. New & sealed. I paid $5.99 for it at my local Navy Exchange. I picked up three copies so if anybody else wants one, I'll throw them in the B&S forum. (No, the Saturn controller doesnt come with the game and that yellow sticker on the box comes right off)

This really isn't a "find" but I broke down and bought a Nintendo DS today meaning the Atari Lynx is no longer my only portable. I got Nintendogs (Dachshunds & Friends) and Super Mario 64 DS with it.

The FLEA MARKET Was Huge..More vendors then ever and by 9 am you could not get through the crowds of people.

I went at 7:30 and though found a lot of stuff,everything was WAY overpriced...
$75.00 for a Atari 2600 with a few common carts..$40.00 for each banged up NES..Utter craziness. x_x

I was aexcited to find super metroid in the wild *finally* The asking price was 9 dollars, I wasn't complaining. Donkey Kong Country 1 was only 6 or 7 dollars :)

Pretty good weekend, I picked up:

2x Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64) - 3.99 each

PS2 Broadband adaptor - $5.00 used

And my most interesting find...

Sony PSP - $120!!!

Here's the catch - this thing is beat up. It appears some spoiled kid just tossed the thing in his backpack and let it get scratched up pretty good. Everything works perfectly on it though, I even was doing some web browsing with it last night.

Now I'm determined to fix it up, I've done a little research online and it looks like people have had success with Brasso, toothpaste (!) and a product called Displex. I guess the good thing is that with it being scratched up already I won't be obsessed with every little flaw like I would if I'd bought one new.

And I have to say, even in it's current condition - this is one cool piece of hardware. I didn't even get a game with it and I played with it all night last night. 8-)
