I got a Sega Dreamcast so that I could practise typing with "Typing of the Dead". I need the DC keyboard and Typing of the Dead game. I have a Typing of the Dead PC demo in my computer. Where can I find the DC version?

Ebay (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2 F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=typing+of+the+dead&category0=) or try the Buy & Sell section on this forum :)

yes, I think eBay is a reasonable priced option (I just bought one for around $10 - factory sealed - shipped)
as for the keyboard, if you can't find one, PM me, I think I have an extra....

Typing of the Dead (NTSC-U) at Play-Asia.com (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-94-77-2-15-typing%2Bof%2Bthe%2Bdead-70-4g4.html)

Typing of the Dead is reasonably easy to find on the internet. I got mine shipped from America, i can't remember how much but under £10. Its great fun. Gotta try 2 player. Even the bonus modes are fun :)

I always thought about picking this game up. But always backed out whenever I had the chance to. What's wrong with me?

it is a great game, I've only played the PC version myself. It's actually a typing tutor as well (it will let you know what letters you are having trouble with, etc. etc.)
when my wife plays, it sounds like an Uzi going off, she is very good at typing :)

I was lucky enough to get my copy when my store had some leftover clearance DC games. It was still $19.98 though. Not a horrible price but if I'd waited, I'd have gotten a much better deal. Grrr....but hey, it's worth it. Even my SISTER loves this game just cuz it's so hysterical that you type to kill zombies. And she HATES games

I found a copy for $4.99 at Toys R Us a few months back. Wierd, huh? But I ended up paying $10 for a keyboard from Lik Sang...
I love the game but I can't type. I'm a really really fast finger pecker. I'm faster with two fingers than are many of my friends who type "properly", but I have to look at the keyboard as I type, making this game impossible for me. Still a gem, though...

Ya, I love this game and got my girlfriend hooked on it. She uses it as a typing tutorial to help her speed up.

For the record, I found the Dreamcast version to be vastly superior to the PC version. Maybe it was just my PC setup, but the framerate was all over the map and it liked to crash.

I don't think that we've got the game in stock, but if you want keyboards I know that we have a bunch at the GOAT Store: http://www.goatstore.com/
I agree with everyone who says it is one heck of an awesome game. One of my friends just about doubled his typing speed from it!

Yup, PC version worked pefect for me. You can always import the Japanese TOTD 2003 or 2004 editions if you really want to.
Isn't the PS2 port coming to the US? And while we're at it, does anyone have a download site for the Typing Space Harrier (demo or otherwise)?

Wait a minute... This old link still works after all!

(I bookmarked that ages ago but I never managed to get through, possibly because the FTP site was too busy.)
