Evil Dead: Regeneration. Playstation 2. Fun Game!

But let's completely forget the fact that it's fun and focus on the overall frustration caused by this game due to it's massive glitches. You know, a couple years ago, I never once had a problem with glitches...an ocassional "do something odd and get stuck and have to reset" or something small, frustrating, but overlooked if the game is fun. Not this game, I've had a handful of times when the game is supposed to load a room and oops, forgets to load the floor! So I fall into a neverending pit and have to reset. What about the times when I'm attacking and all of a sudden FREEZE and get plummelled to death by enemies? *sigh* The times I'm supposed to beat all the enemies in the room to open a door, then the door doesn't open, and I'm stuck running around the room for 10 minutes trying to trigger it.

Some of you may remember me bitching about Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within, and how a glitch caused me to not be able to finish the game because the time warp wouldn't register me standing inside it and transport me to the last boss. Yes, the last boss, all the way through the game and couldn't finish it...I was pissed. But of COURSE I'm sure this is an isolated incident! Oh how wrong I was.

Last stage, 5-6 hours into the game, ready to finish and be done with it. I was getting tired so I decided to save at the next save point and finish in the morning. Hit the save point...what's this? No save data! Won't allow me to save a new one? That's right, the game just corrupted my memory card. Well, I look on the bright side...I'll just finish the game up tonight, I've not had a problem with defeating any of the bosses so I'll just run on through it. Made it up to the room with the boss in it, prepped myself up to go in and defeat him and....wait, oh shit, where's the floor!? Oh fucking hell not again.

So here I am, unable to load my save, unable to save to a new slot, unable to finish the game because there's NO GAWDAMN FLOOR TO STAND ON!

So in the end, thank you Evil Dead: Regeneration and Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within, for making my gaming time pointless and frustrating me beyond belief with your heinous glitches. Games don't cause violence? Keep this up and I'll prove them wrong!

The only Evil Dead game I've played was Evil Dead: Hail to the King on Dreamcast. That game was pretty terrible, the gameplay wasn't good at all. I'm a huge Evil Dead fan but I haven't tried any more games since. Maybe I'll give this one a shot, I heard it was pretty good. I hope I don't get stuck in any horrible glitches like you did though! :/

Woah. That's original. (How could a programming job be so badly botched?)

I'm not surprised that the new Evil Dead game is buggy, since it was a budget title. Most companies aren't going to spend a whole lot of time testing a game they'll sell for $20.

My roomate owns this game, and watched him play it a little bit, seeing how there are some glitches. BUT, after reading all of these glitches that you find, its actually pretty funny! Reminds me of the good ol' Playstation/N64 era LOL

I didn't have a single problem with Evil Dead: Regeneration on Xbox. On top of that I found it to be a really fun game.

Yeah, Xbox version was totally error-free experience for me, so was Hail to The King.

Not related to the latest release, but Hail to the King is 1 of the worst horrors I've ever encountered in the field of survival horror.

Interesting to see the trend.
