Hi, I went out to gamecrazy found the 3 for 15.00 sale is back on today (quietly release). I am not as excited about this sale as the last one. (probably due to all the new releases).

The sale is the same as the last one
dc snes nes gen n64 & gameboy.

Collectors alert

I picked up The xbox Silent scope complete light rifle gun set at game crazy yesterday (Silent scope complete game sold seperatelty). Price dropped to 9.99. The clerk couldn't believe it. I asked for a price check on a used blaster for house of the dead 3 that was on the shelf and he checked the computer and told me that the silent scope complte rifle gun set dropped to 9.99. I said woohoo. I believe most game crazy have at least one left in stock.
Good luck

Happy hunting.

Something is odd here...I didn't get any paper work on this today (Since I work for GameCrazy here in Texas). Yet the one thing I'm noticing is everyone on the east coast has comfirmed this. New Jersey and now Maryland.

I think it's a region thing, but I could be wrong, I'll have to ask tommorrow.

unfortunatly the game crazies are cleaned out in ct -- they have the same old games for months

i went to one last night -- they didnt have anything set up for it - the clerk had to manualy change the prices - thier coupon system didnt work for it

why is this sale quiet -- if they want to unload old games then wouldn't you think this would be advertized with big signs?

They got hammered the last time. They exepected it to do well but not as crazy as it was. Some people were buying games 600.00-700.00 a pop. I personally went to 10 stores one weekend. I drop a few hundred myself.

Does anyone know where the closest GameCrazy is to Medford, MA? And since GameCrazy is owned by the same corporation of Hollywood Video and most Hollywood Videos have a GameCrazy dept if they're doing it too? I should just go check my local Hollywood Video, but if I can find out before I drive down there that'd be better

I dropped 2 bills myself, got every N64 game worth having (to me). I even grabbed a couple copies of Paper Mario and Harvest Moon to resell & made some of the cost back.
Now why is having a popular sale a bad thing?

Is this sale region specific or something? I just called the GameCrazy in Jacksonville, NC and they said that they had no sales like that right now and that had heard nothing about it.

Game Crazy is only slightly less well organized than Game Stop. They can't keep their act together for the life of them. The sales, as far as I can tell, are national. The folks at your shop may just be clueless. Frequently they are poorly informed.

I can't get out of those shops in less than 40 minutes. I use that discount card and it takes them 15 minutes just to look me up. I still go back because these shops are a good source of stuff, especially on sale.

Goddamn them for dumping 8 million PSX, DC and Sat cases. And I bet they toss Genesis cases as well.

Yup I called my store this morning and they told me the same thing!

I think it's only certain stores in the Nation

Yes they do toss Genesis and GBA cases, why do I know that? Because I have over a dozen orphans, even a DS case for "The Urbz" sadly...I even got the hard case "CASTLEVANIA Bloodlines" with the booklet and original KONAMI registration card included.

The dumbest case was when I found a DREAMCAST box in the bottom of the dumpster outside...sadly it was ruined by the time I found it :(

same thing with Nes the gamecrazy I went to, today, had over 30 nes titles, 1.99 and lower... but the selection was quite limited, although this was a gamecrazy, "in the hood", so maybe that should be expected... :D

Another reason Canada blows... no cool game shops. We got Walmart, Future Shop, Best Buy (not in our city), Zellers, EB Games, and thats pretty much it.

If I ever go to the states, the cashier will think I'm weird when I spend over $150 on retro systems :D I'll just trade $300 CDN or so in for USD, and spend it all on video games. Woooo :D

Hi just a heads up. I went to gamecrazy for the 3 for 15 deal and found the xbox silent scope rifle box price dropped to 9.99.

Great deal, I was tempted to buy the one at gamestop when the price price drop to 29.99.

There are zero game crazies in my area that i know of, thank god. Now, i Do like to get good deals, it's just that i'd rather they not be seperated from the boxes and manuals just before i buy them.

A local Game Crazy had a copy of Herzog Zwei for $20, so I sent a friend to go get it. He reported back to me today that he got Herzog Zwei, Earthworm Jim 2 (for Genesis), and Gunstar Heroes... for $6.37 total. Apparently they all rang up at $1.99, despite the fact that they were marked $19.99, $9.99, and $14.99, respectively. I don't understand it. He lucked out, though.

I've noticed that Game Crazy has been marking down many of their NES games quite a bit from their original prices. With the exception of a few games, they range from $1.99-$4.99. I don't know if this means that they will be trying to stop selling the older systems, but hopefully not. When I saw them putting up the signs for this sale, I saw that it was going to be pointless for me because of this.

Bah, why do I have to see this post on Friday. I was in there a week ago and asked the guy what specials were coming up, and he said he didnt know for sure, but heard of a "retro" deal coming up...

That day I asked him, there were quite a few nice NES/SNES/N64 games there, but damn I'm sure their gone now :(

I wonder why they're doing this sale...almost all stores in my area were cleared out when it last happened and just recently almost all of their generic retro games were dropped below 5 bucks almost making the sale useless. Unless you score some rediculously expensive rpgs or something...

One of these days I should load up on the last few genny carts I need loose before they stop selling them for good.

I checked in my local Game Crazy (Old Bridge, NJ) and they had no idea what I was talking about - no 3 for $15 sale there.... Bummer - I walked out empty handed.

Well I went down to Simi Valley to the nearest GameCrazy's to me besides my local ones (which aren't so local though). There are two, one had nothing worth getting. The second one had only a few things, just enough for the three needed for the deal. At first the guy didn'y know what he was doing and wanted to charge me over $50.00 I then told him about the sale and he said something about it only applying to games under $5.00. So anyway he asks the girl that works with him and she said the sale was on. She showed him how to fix it and it was done.
Anyway I grabbed:

Dreamcast - Sonic Adventure 2
PS1 - Army Men World War
Gameboy Color - Army Men Sarge's Hero

Not bad, I saved over $40.00
