Hey. Nintendo WiFi launches on monday, and I didn't realize how much money setting up a WiFi connection was going to cost. So after scouring the internet for the best possible deals, I figured I would ask my fellow DPer for assistance.
If anyone has got an extra B or G router laying around collecting dust and just plain old taking up space, please consider donating it to a wonderful cause.... me kicking ass in Mario Kart.
I have $22.01 USD in paypal.
In short. I'm poor. I'm so poor, I bet you could use me as a tax write off.
Anyway, thanks to anyone who even thought about it.
Oh I might be able to hook you up. I dont check the forums often anymore so hit me on my email. I upgraded to Vonage a month ago and got the wireless router so now I have a D-Link wireless G router floating around here and it needs a home away from here. :)

Correct me if Im wrong, but isnt nintendo releasing that like $20 wifi usb thing so that you dont need a wireless router to play online?

Yes, and it's going to be $35, but it only works with a Nintendo DS and it requires specific drivers. I think a dedicated router would be much better.

I have a Netgear MR314 that I was just about to auction. Practically brand new, it's seen about a weeks use. It has the box which is in great shape and everything that came with it. I can give you a really good deal. I also have the Linksys befw11s4 like new and a matching unopened Linksys USB wireless reciever to go with it. Please PM me if you want either of these.

Thanks everyone. Vectorman got a hold of me that same evening and we made a deal on a Wireless B. I'm going to give it a shot, and see if I can download anythign that is necessary. If it turns out I can't get it up and running, I'll definitely come back to strike up a deal with one of you fine people next week.
