Edit 3: I finally got onto the platform! I might get stuck again though, So don't cosider this topic to be "Dead"

Edit 2: I am still trying to figure out how to get through this dungeon.

Edit: Is there any way to make some progress in this level?

I'm in the fire temple, On level 3. (The level where the maze is) I freed the gordons, And I unlocked the doors that I could get to. I found a door that I can't get to. It's in the Fire trap room.

Is there any way to get to that door? Or is there another way to keep going that i haven't found? Please help!

Hmm fire temple... are there any of those 'eyes' that you can shoot arrows at? I remember i missed an 'eye' that was on a wall and i was stuck for ages.

I've shot at the eye, but it just raises the steel bars blocking the door leading towards a treasure chest with a map in it. I've tried shooting at the eye then looking to see if it changed anything in the room, but nothing happened.

Trying to remember....

In the hallway where you get chased by the fire did you go to the door thats in the middle of the hallway? I think thats where you have to go next.

It's been a long time since I played - what's your current equipment load-out, and what's on the ceiling? I recall there was a spot where you had to hookshot over a fence, if that's any help (see, I remember enough to know that the Fire Temple was after the Water Temple...I think!)

Wow, I think I will have to play that game soon. But, try playing some tune on your Ocarina.

Find the location where the scarecrow should be, and play your song that you created by the lake. Hookshot up to the scarecrow, and find the platform where you bomb the floor to get to the next room.

I think...It's been a while since I played it too....

Its been a while... Is that the temple where you need the hover-boots to get over that pit at the beginning? I think I remember being stuck in that temple too. 2 things sort of come to mind in that one.
Do you get the lens of truth in that one? If so, make sure you look everywhere for secret platforms, etc...
I remember not killing all the bats in one room once. Make sure you're killing all of the enemies.

That would most likely be the Spirit Temple, as the hover boots were gotten late into the game for last-minute item pickups and the like.

EDIT: I fixed the map.

I've been trying to find an area in the room that I could hookshot to, But there isn't one.

Here is a map of the room and room next to it with a bad floor. There isn't a way to jump onto the platform. (You can jump towards it, but you can't grab the ledge)
.___________________________________
/..................|...Platform....|............... ..|

|................................................. .......|

.\......................./..*.......\
..\......................|...........|
...\_____________|_______/

This map is not accurate. The area with a * In it is not a platform, It is the room with a bad floor.

From the NP Guide..

(I think this is where you are)

[3rd Floor]

- After you've returned to the top of the boulder maze, jump across to the switch and press it. A cage at the other end of the chamber will unlock - there's a Goron inside. Carefully leap across each pillar to reach the Goron - watch out for slugs along the way. When you reach the Goron, you'll earn another small key.

- From the top of the boulder maze, jump back across the pillars to reach the door that leads back to the room with the wall of fire in it. Use a small key on the locked door and grab the two hearts on the pillars above the iron grating if you need them.

- [at point 12] keep an eye on the Fire Keese that drop from the ceiling. In the central room, use a small key to cross. There's a Goron inside, but you must reach the top of the fire maze before you can free him. On the opposite side of the maze, push the switch to lower the fire that blocks the door - quickly run over the area before it flares up again. Grab the jars on either side of the door, then use a bomb on the door to enter.

- z-target the flare Dancer and use your hookshot to draw him out - strike before he starts circling the room and throwing fire. After you pull the Flare Dancer out, he will try to retreat. Attack him with your sword, then circle around and cut him off with another attck. Repeat the process until he jumps back into the flames, then ready your hookshot again. After you destroy the Flare Dancer, jump on the platform to ride it up.

[5th Floor]

- Jump onto the ledge [at point 14] and press the switch. You'll have a limited time to reach the treasure chest by carefully walking up the narrow stone path. The Megaton Hammer is your reward for reaching the chest. Return to the entrance and use the hammer on the stone block to descend, then use it to smack the blocks away from the door. Exit through the door.

[4th Floor]

- Use the Megaton Hammer on the switch to create a stairway that leads down. Place a block on the switch. Walk downstairs and use the Megaton Hammer on another switch to descend.

[3rd Floor]

- Climb up the ledge and use the hammer on the rusty switch, Play the Song of Time to remove the block and reveal another rusty switch. Cross the gap, then smack the third rusty switch to release the Goron below and to earn a small key.

- Play the Song of Time and jump onto the platform to return to the upper level. Use the hammer on the block and descend to the chamber where you saw Darunia, then return to the entrance room.

[1st Floor]

- Floor tiles and a Like Like will attack you at [point 18]. Move around while z-targeting the floor tiles and defend with your sheild until they stop. Steer clear of the Like Like or it will devour your sheild. Toss bombs at the foe until you've eliminated it.

I hope that helps you out!

Ok, this may sound like a weird question but, how many hearts should you have when you go to fight Ganon? I have 17 now and was wondering if there was anything else. It's been a very long time since I payed also.

I'm not sure. Try to get as many as possible.
