Just a heads up, I went to BestBuy.com to purchase Atari Anthology for the DS, and when you buy it, there is an offer for a free Pong t-shirt which looks pretty nice.

Not a horribly great deal, but if you're planning on getting some games made by Atari, it might be worth the extra little money to get it online.
I also appreciated the $18.00 in McDonalds bucks that made the total come to about $6.00 :D

I thought you couldn't use more than 3 best buy bucks? I've got a ton of them saved up I should buy something cool lol.

In store, they try to enforce the $3.00 limit on all media, however the official rules never said video games, just DVDs and CDs. So, if you bitch loud enough, they'll eventually give in, but it may take calls to corporate.
I was able to apply all $18 of my discount online with no problems at all :)

Schweet, I just found all of them and I have 8 dollars right here, I know I have some more somewhere. Now I just gotta decided what to buy :)

Btw, how do they distribute bestbuy dollars at McDonalds? Pending on how much you spend, what you order? Because I only ever really get some side salads when I go there, so just wondering if I'd get any from that.

During the Monopoly promotion, they were on Premium Chicken Sandwiches and large fries along with the Monopoly peices. Since that's what I usually eat when I go there, and the chance of getting a $3.00 'buck' peice was one in three, I got about $25 worth of 'credit' in about 12 meals. The only month I really eat out is October because I am out of the house so much, so it worked out very well for me :)

I think that's the idea... The system probably requires that it HAS a price, but they don't want people ordering it separately. So, they put a silly price on it so most people won't order it, leaving more shirts available to those following the promotion, but then if someone DOES order it, hey, it's $40 on a $5 shirt. Whee!
Of course, I bought a $10 game, so it's like they're paying ME $30! Or not... :-)

I would assume you could preorder something with them, although I'm not positive.
They don't run out until 12/3 however, so if whatever you're looking at is released before then, if you can't preorder you can just wait.
One other thing -- the bucks do not work on video game hardware. I was originally planning on using all mine toward a Mario Kart DS system, but since that won't work, I'm planning on picking it up at EBGames.

See thats the thing. I wanna pre-order the Star Wars Clone Wars Volume 2 but it doesn't come out until 12/6. Oh well... I'll just have to find something else... Sorry for hijacking this thread. lol

You can only use $3.00 on DVDs, so that wouldn't work so great anyway...
And you wouldn't get the Pong T-shirt ;)

Yeah, it was Driv3r, and I have heard it's kind of a trainwreck (that MAY have something to do with the price), but the madness of a collector is barely bound by taste. :-)
