Square Enix revealed that Kingdom Hearts II will have a computer world based on Tron;

Dammit. The first Kingdom Hearts struck me as "meh." Didn't really get me pumped, so I had no intention of picking up KH2.
Until now.
I MUST pick it simply for the Tron level. Damn cool.

Hasn't it been in development since 1989?
I know nothing of tron but at the very least at least it looks neat.

I played nearly though all of the original Kingdom Hearts but finally the HORRIBLE collision detection pissed me off enough to stop and sell it. There is NO reason why in this day and age of video gaming that bad collision detection should get out of testing - both in attacking enemies and even more so in sliding off platforms... Which was the biggest problem with Kingdom Hearts.. well, that and you never felt like you were making any real progress - it was like "here's a level in a DIFFERENT SETTING, ..do the same stuff again please."
Seeing a TRON world in Kingdom Hearts II has sparked my interest but let us hope that with ALL THE TIME this game has spent in development that they've fixed the collision problems with the engine.
Yes, and now you've got two renegade programs running all over the system in a stolen simulation.

And I fully agree, there should be more Ernest Borgnine and cute robots flitting about. Those spaceships were pretty keen (and don't get me started on the music...man, I'm foolish enough that even now I'd probably start humming the damned theme music LOL )
