It's River City Ransom. With the box, cart, booklet, everything in near mint condition.

Someone told me it's worth only $3.50, and they'll happily buy it off me. I said a big "f you" to them for that. I simply don't know the price, but I'm not a dumbass. So, how much is it really worth? Cheers.

What a dumbass. It's only worth $2.50... and I'll be swinging by to pick it up soon. :P

Honestly though, you'd probably get between $25 and $30 for it if it's in good shape.

Someone told me it's worth only $3.50, and they'll happily buy it off me.

When people offer you a price and say something like "happily buy it of you" or something "i have the money for the game waiting for you right here" they usualy knows its worth more than what they offer.
Its worth more than $3.50, thats for sure.

Check this (http://cgi.ebay.com/RIVER-CITY-RANSOM-NES-COMPLETE-IN-BOX-MINT_W0QQitemZ8230451846QQcategoryZ62053QQrdZ1QQcm dZViewItem) and this (http://cgi.ebay.com/NES-Nintendo-RIVER-CITY-RANSOM-complete-in-box-cib_W0QQitemZ8228118690QQcategoryZ62053QQrdZ1QQcmd ZViewItem)

These 2 were sold within the last 30 days on Ebay. Im sure you can get atleast $25 for it.
Good luck :)

These are Ebay prices which are usualy higher. I guess the ones who said $10-15 spoke from what they wanted to pay for it. Personally I would never pay like $40 for River City Ransom, maybe if it was one of the last games I needed or something.
But if you try to sell it on Ebay you can get a pretty good price because the game is popular.

How about if you are wanting to sell it just put it on ebay and see how much you get for it?

Christ, next you'll be telling people to just search completed auctions on ebay for a price estimate if they want one.

Damn unreasonably people. So much easier to start an entire topic asking hundreds of people to do it for you.

It just occured to be that Johno590 might've intended to say that you should put the game on eBay, see how far it shoots up, and then cancel the auction.

Personally, I'd just put it on eBay and let the market do the talking...but I don't sell games...nor should I...

Jeez... like said above, yet in a sarchastic tone, go to ebay and check the ended auctions. Average prices. Done.

It's really not hard to do...

If you're selling it on ebay, $20, but it's only worth, as the guide says, about $8.

The guide only shows price for a loose copy. I saw a loose River City Ransom being sold for $16.99 on ebay.

I'd say $20 - $30 for a truly MINT copy, but that's just me :)

Cmosfm wouldn't say it but I will (because everyone probably hates me already - unless you need X'Eye or Coleco tabletop repair information). LOL Whiskers the Wonder Cat, you need to lighten up or you'll never survive on these boards. If you ask someone for help don't go slicing at their throat if you don't like their response.

You wanted to know what it's "really worth™" and you got the answer to what just about anything is "really worth™" - what someone will pay you for it. So at this time it IS only worth $3.50.

eBay doesn't give you "market value" it gives you whatever the exact conditions on a specific auction ended at. We all know a loose copy of EarthBound isn't worth $70+ but I've sold two of them on eBay for that much simply because there was a bidding war toward the end of each.

I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything, but seriously...

I think this gentlemen means "tree fitty"

People on eBay pay too much for some stuff. If you want an extra 10-15 bucks sell it there.

NES gamers/collectors like good deals, so sell it for about $5.00, and try to mix it around with a couple of other things, if you can. Or you could go on ebay; Heck, you could pretty much sell dog sh*t for around 10 grand on that site LOL LOL LOL
