Just wondering if it's out here somewhere..
I remember reading that there is no rom dump anywhere for it.
I did see it on an old movie last week.

There is no CPU in the game. I think like Pong, it used discrete logic circuits.
I suppose if someone had knowledge of the internal workings it is very much technically possible they could use a circuit simulator of some sort (like P-spice.. if that's still around LOL) to simulate every circuit and have a video output. But that's probably a pretty huge undertaking. :)

There's no CPU, so it can't be emulated. It's a discrete logic game.
Simulation is possible though - IIRC, one of the super talented guys here put together a really nice version of it that you can play on the PC. Search this section of the forum and you should find it. :)

Somewhat random question: Wasn't Monaco GP the last arcade game to use discrete logic circuits completely?

There's 2 possible ways to play this. One is via the version that Doc at www.roguesynapse.com wrote. This is an emulation done under Dark Basic. There is also a verison floating around that runs under a modified version of MAME (I believe it was Dave Widel that wrote it). Both of them play extremely well and are a lot of fun!

sadly, I have macmame. and no PC. I went to the link, very cool.
I design custom logos and seperations on a mac. One of those incompatable things, no pc!
