In online play last night (in my two matches) I did notice some of the "jumpyness" that people had talked about during a race with Avatard and classicb. Avatard's car moved totally normally, but classicb was jumping around a bit, and once I shot a turtle shell his way and it looked like it hit him for about three seconds before his car flipped.

Even so, it didn't detract from some very close races.

I realized that I still miss the coins gaining you speed though like the SNES version. That used to be such a great way to get that little bit of extra boost to get ahead of people. Regardless, the game seems extremely well balanced, so I can't complain.

Daniel T and whomever else I was playing, sorry for dropping out of the game. My network keeps going up and down, so the cable company must be doing something. Instead of dropping out randomly in the middle of a great Rainbow Road race, I'm going to sit out the rest of the night.

Eh, I don't mind. I was too busy crashing into every object I could see. I usually trust the DPers to play through without quitting (something which thankfully hasn't been happening yet). I actually didn't realize you were gone until Rainbow was over. It's so easy to get knocked off the track.

You should work on your decal, though. A really cool decal will totally help you win races. All the other racers will go, "Woah! What was that cool decal?!" And while they're distracted, they'll crash into those green pipes and lose.

Not that, um...that ever happened to me [whistling].

We have kind of an unwritten rule, that if we just started a race and see someone trying to get in we stop and let them in.

It could also be that his connection was lost. When my network went down and back up when I was playing the other night, it froze for a second and then it did the same thing to appear that everyone had quit. Since I was sitting in front of my computer, I knew it was me because it told me it had just lost the network connection, but without that I would've had no idea.

By the way, I'll be updating the list today. Sorry for being slow about it lately!

Yeah connections get lost and EVERYONE involved gets the message "your opponent has disconnected". So don't take that message to heart.

I had several LIVE conversations with people to get a game going and we'd get disconnected and of course we'd both get that message. Not by any fault of either parties.. things just get reset sometimes :)

There is probably some blanket rule about not sharing personal information of any kind on a message board. If that's so it shouldn't be long before they can work it out to allow friend codes with whoever is being ignorant.

Updated! Sorry for the bit of a delay in updates. No one had posted anything for a while, and then all of a sudden everyone's flew in when I didn't have time to look at the board much! Once again, please everyone follow these formatting rules when posting your links. I've had a few people ask me to update more often, and truthfully the only reason I haven't been updating regularly is that it takes a while to grab all this information and confirm it's correct, especially when your name / code is in images or whatever.

The following are the ways to submit for each game currently using the WiFi connection. If you do not submit them this way, I will be slower at updating this list.

Examples:

I do want you to know that I greatly appreciate what you've got going on here though. Many a time has this thread been visited just to check and see who's been updated. Especialy now with animal crossing, when none of us have actually visited the other yet. Icbrkr sent me a message in IRC containing his friend code, but not his town name. Thanks to your great organizational skills, I now have that information as well.

Anyway, even though I have watched you harp at us all over, and over, and over again about making it easier for you to update, I want you to know that your efforts are appreciated.

No problem :) As noted, you weren't the only one doing it... but I can say that I have been putting off updating this list more regularly just because I don't want to commit 15 minutes to doing it or whatever.

That's why you need to add just about EVERYBODY! That way whenever someone opens their gates, you know about it, and can rush in there to do some chatting, fruit trading, shopping, and leay patterns on their floors, get their constellations (when you visit someones town, their constellations transfer to your game also).

Ya I added everyone on the DP site, I'll get the AA thread tomorrow.

Unfortunately, during my first "visitor" one of us lost connection and I found out the HAPPY truth of my game resetting and losing everything just because someone lost connection. Doesn't overly make me want to risk opening the gates anymore frankly. Not while I'm actuvely playing anyways.
