E.S Posthumus music used in the movie=instant winner. The fight is just jaw dropping. And I like it how the creator included no curse words and senseless blood like you see many on Newgrounds do. Watch it and enjoy it.

that was really good, i've seen a lot and didn't expect anything that good but that fight was so well done, expeciall the part when he was dodgeing all the hooks, thanks for the link!

Haha, that was pretty awesome. It took forever to load on my 56gay, but it was worth it. I didn't think it was going to have a real story just fighting, but it was cool.

That's actually pretty easy to do, most people just do it the other way because everyone else does. And yes, that fight was awesome. @_@

This got me thinking as to why no one ever created at SF or MK rpg. Atleast none that i'm aware of. I remember something about Samurai Shodown rpg, but it never got released in the US. Thanks for sharing op.

Aside from it having some bizarre loading/freezing problems, that was freakin' sweet. Liu Kang getting knocked away was priceless.

MK Shaolin Monks is basically a brawler/platformer with RPGish elements. Deception had a quest mode as well, which was actually quite fun other than me sucking at fighting.

Oh what I wouldn't give for a cross-over game. I think I've been saying that for about 10 years now. Maybe the MK characters would need one or two new moves though. There's only so many times you can do Scorpian's "Get over here" move it seems.

I like how the arrival of the time portal seemed to bring Liu Kang and Scorpian close together. They realized all this fighting was trival and killing each other was no longer the goal. Oh so cute and touching.

Yeah, that whole prologue with the Sakura/Ryu relationship thing was kinda odd. But the rest of it was amazing!

Same here, although I usually imagined what it would be like if the fighters of Mortal Kombat squared off with those of Street Fighter AND Samurai Shodown. ;)

I highly doubt Akuma would save Ryu's ass. I also liked how the first one was done moreseo than the second one. Still cool stuff though.

My thoughts exactly. I wish I had the skills to make something like that...

I agree that the prologue was a little cheesy, but I give the guy credit - he was trying to get the viewer emotionally invested in the characters which is the key to any good story. He wanted to do something more than just put some cool fightscenes together. But make no mistake, that fighting was just plain awesome. I loved it when Scorpion starts trying to finish him with the flames near the end. @_@

I hope they take this idea and run with it, I'd love to see more.

Must go with a "Wow, that was good!" The only problem was with such a long beginning I was expecting it to be longer. Other than that, great sound, graphics editing, and resolution! :)

It's nice to see something original for a change, unlike the ones filled with cheesy racial jokes and badly animated violence.

The fighting was awesome, but Akuma popping up at the end felt awkward, if anything I would've expected Ken.

I was getting bored with all that love crap in the start, but once the battle started I really appreciate this guys capability to really do some amazing stuff...Im taking a class on flash and I must say that that video is amazing, and it must have taken a VERY long time to do that video...

Agreed. Charming fight (love the bit in the sky with all the spears), but oy, the cheese!

The cheese is necessary, after all, we're talking SF and MK rofl. Capcom even had the good sense to make an official parody (Pocket Fighter).

Here's hoping this guy/team/entity make another of these.

Btw, guy who mentioned it odd that Akuma and not Ken showed up .. agreed. Although maybe he was thinking since Akuma is some kinda demon, he could pop dimensions without a portal? Idk ..
