Wow...that's awesome...I'm going to finally buy his book maybe in a million years I could learn to do this...

I think this may top any of his previous ideas...a lapto trumps a handheld I think...

Later,

Wow. This guy is utterly amazing. Funny, according to Kamino he is a "dumbass".

The only thing that I don't like about him is the fact that he doesn't sell more pre-made SNES portables. All I really want is more SNES, and no the GBA does not count... though it is great in its own right.

Pure genius. Makes you think, this guy could probably engineer almost anything he sets his mind to :)

We should get him to do this (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=74307). It would probably be simple for him.

Kamino is a dumbass. Mr. Heck in my opinion is a genius, and I don't even know the man.

Seriously. Wasn't Kamino the one who was so proud that he learned how to solder a few months ago?

If Ben sold this for $300 I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Ok you've had your fun now lay off Kamino. The thread isn't about him so lets avoid needless slander.

This guy does awesome stuff. I can't imagine doing these projects. If I could, there would be little time for much else.

Ben Heckendorn is God. His book is VERY good too....very detailed.

Man, if I had the tools (and the room) for some of the equipment he uses to design cases and such, I'd get more serious about giving some projects like these a shot.

We need a Speccy fan to make a ZX Spectrum Laptop.

In fact, the whole idea of making laptops out of oldskool computers is quite cool. What about a portable Amiga?
