For me, I have my Hello Kitty Pink Dreamcast I just gotten put next to my Midnight Blue edition PS2. Soon, I'm going to get a Sega Saturn and put that on top of my DVD player. I have no room to put it anywhere else.
I'm so digging the Hello Kitty's milky pink color. :-P

I think most of us have looooads of consoles around the TV. I personally have:
Left - Saturn, NES, Xbox
Top - Dreamcast, N64
Right - Gamecube
Where did i put my SNES?

Upstairs: PS2 in the entertainment center hooked into the surround sound. Next to the TV, I have a NES and N64 that I hook up through the VCR from time to time.
Downstairs: Genesis/Sega CD/32X on one TV and an Atari 2600 on a smaller one. I think I am going to shelve the 32X because it prevents me from using my Power Base Converter without rewiring the whole shebang. And I can't use the same RF switch with the 32x and SMS and I want my SMS dammit!
I think I will hook up the SMS and play Genny/Sega CD through the VCR with a CDX. That would take up a lot less space too!

My only console currently near the TV is my PS2. However, I haven't gotten around to taking my other consoles out. Besides, I'm about to be TV-less for a few weeks (I'll have access to a tiny portable TV, but that's only good for local networks).
Anyway, console gaming will get more love from me again (except for DDR -- got downstairs neighbors) once I get my delayed birthday gift from my parents (a new 20-inch TV). But it could be a few weeks before I get it, as they haven't gone back to Costco lately (this is where they'll buy it).

Next to the nice big silver Panasonic 32" wide-flatscreen in the front room I have my silver glass-shelved entertainment centre. This contains the white NTSC-J Saturn (multiregion), Dreamcast, PSone (chipped), PC Engine Duo R (RGB mod) and consolized MV-1C NeoGeo. Under the TV on the stand shelf is the XBMC (silver, white backlit 20x4 LCD, remote on/off, DVD remote, remote pad, 250GB HDD), Panasonic 5.1 Surround Sound Amp and Joytech AV Control Centre 2 RGB switch box for everything. The cable box dwells in the darkness under the TV stand.
In the Dining Room is the 21" 3:4 normal Telly. This has the multiregion Megadrive sat on top of it. And very shortly a multiregion Mega CD will be joining it. Excellent. Got the MD and the PC running through a Technics amp too, which lives on top of the fridge.

Right now, since I'm at school, most of my stuff is at home. So currently, just the NES and the PS2, with a healthy stack of games for each.

I have a habit of, whenever I take out my old consoles out to play, like the SNES, I put it back into the box, and tie up all the plugs and whatever and put it back in my closet again.

Well, right now I'm at college, and I dont have anything hooked up to a T.V. Right now I have Commodore SX-64 and a PS2 hooked up to a Commodore 1702, and in about two weeks I'll have a CD-i and an NES Top-Loader hooked up to it.

I can only have two hooked up at a time. I need to put my Genesis up, and find some place to put my PlayStation.

I have a small entertainment center with my 20" TV on top, my Saturn to my left, the GameCube to the right, the 5-system selector behind the GameCube, then on the one true shelf is my VCR, then in the cabinet portion (the glass door came off its hinge and I never bothered to fix it...oh well, better access) I have the PS2 and the DreamCast in the back and the Genesis and the SNES in the front. My XBox is on my desk which is at an angle with my TV, so it's practically next to my TV, and the N64 and NES are in one of those video game carts under the desk. I'm planning on taking pics of my setup for my Room of Doom album since at first all I took was individual shots of each console (with the exception of the PS2, DC, Gen and SNES, I got all four of them in one shot).
It's the best I can do what with the size of my room. I've been wanting to get a taller entertainment center (since I can't fit a wider one) but I just haven't had the time or money. I was also thinking of getting one of those TV shelves you see in catalogs that turns the top of your TV into a 1 or 2-tiered shelf. But hey, just a few more years and I'll be out of college, have a real career and I can get a place of my own and will have room to expand.

I have everything i own - From the Atari 2600, Odyssey 2, to the X-Box hooked up to my main TV(61' Samsung HDTV) - I have my TV on a long wooden stand with drawers, and on each side i have large book-cases which match the wood. Each system is represented with a spot, and all are hooked up and playable.
It looks better then it sounds actually. One of my problems is that when you bring home women, you tend to want a place that helps keep up the illusion that you're "cool" and not some videogame geek. It all looks rather tasteful believe it or not.
It helps that every single game is hidden from view however. I've yet to find a way to display tons of cartridges and assorted memorabilia in a nice way. Well aside, from the newer X-Box style cases anyway.

Xbox, GameCube, SNES, original PlayStation (still my only...it was my only... LOL ), Genesis, and right now, my NES hooked into the front jacks of the TV. Very nice. I just realized that although I have a whole copy paper box full of NES games (most all of them loose), I need way more. I WANT ROOM SERVICE

Sega Cluster, Cube, modded Saturn, modded Xbox, Dreamcast...and I think there's an non-hooked up N64 under the TV somewhere. Over by the monitor there's another DC hooked in via VGA box, under that is a non-hooked up Saturn, and next to the monitor is a Vectrex and a non-hooked up genny2/segaCD.

My tv stand has 4 shelves (2 x 2 config).
Top left is component video system selector with a slim PS2 sitting on top of it.
Top right is empty. :embarrassed:
Bottom left is blue Hello Kitty Dreamcast and Panasonic Q Gamecube.
Bottom right is Halo Xbox.
I'd have a Saturn hooked up, but it is installed in a candy cab! ;)

I have my Snes at the right under the TV
I have my PS2, Dreamcast, PS1, Nes to the left on my homemade shelf.
I now have a smaller collection. I just bought a new monster wall unit for our new "one coat of paint to go" gaming room. The plasma goes in the middle with a wide shelving tower on each side, and VCR sized spaces over and under the TV space.
The TV will be surrounded by an Xbox, a pair of side by side Dreamcasts, a pair of side by side N64s (one a Pokemon model), a brand new never-used Genny 2 (strictly for show), a 9001 PSX, a NES and a handheld shelf containing a DS, a GBA, a GBC and a PSP if I decide to keep it. The other shelves will hold my much-more-manageable game library. I have to come up with a way to store all of the controllers so that they arent hanging around and plugged in, but are easy to get to.

Thank god for HDTV's with a zillion connections in the back :D
My Xbox is connected to one of the component switches. Still have 2 available. Can't wait until I can someday hook a console up to my DVI or HDMI ports! I hope console maunfacturers start using these standards, this coming generation...
My DC and Gamecube are taking the S-video ports.
My SMS and Genesis on the A/V jacks on the side of my TV.
My Intellivision is always on standby. But it looks like crap on my TV. REALLY Bad looking picture... Thinking about getting rid of the RF adapter and adding composite outputs. Has anyone tried this with their Inty's?

In my bedroom:
I would like to first off point out that my room is an X-Tream Fire Hazard. EVERYTHEING that I list here, and more, is plugged into only 2 outlets that I have split and split and split to make, I believe, over 30 outlets (32 I think).
Hooked up to my small (20" maybe?) flat screen TV:
To the left:
DVD player - Top shelf, with a 4-way sitting on top
Sega Saturn - Right below, middle shelf
Sega Dreamcast - Third and final shelf down on the right of the home theater tv holder
To the right - on large bookshelf (top to bottom)
Sega GameGears - While not on TV, like to mention that I got 3 of them, top shelf
5 Plug and Plays - with a 4-way with front load port for plug&plays
Nintendo NES - with AV hookups
Atari 2600 - Last system hooked up on shelves
Bottom shelf - has random stuff including SMSs that I cant hook up :(
Floor, or sometime cabnet in cabnet below TV
Sega Genesis / Sega CD / and Sega 32X (all but 32X are model 2s) - Positioned snugly in the official Sega Genesis organizer (made to fit a model II Sega CD PERFECTLY, but I cant use dust cover because 32X makes it to tall). I have it here so that I can bring it close to my bed, and at night, while I wait to go to sleep in my bed, sometimes Ill be a lazy ass and drag it by my bed and play till I get to tired. Then I dont got to get up to turn it off! :P Almost always keep the official Sega 6-button Arcade Stick with built in optional and controlable speed rapid-fire plugged in! :P

Just wait for this if you think that's good.
Downstairs, in our living room (before they tore it up to put up drywall, and hopefully, if they ever finish with the dry wall, some day again):
We have a 61" High-Def FlatScreen LCD TV in our living room (YES IT ROCKZ!) and THX and Optimized DoublyDigital Surround Sound approved SWEETZ 5.1 digital Surround Sound system using PURE, as in NOTHING BUT, True and Great Fiber Optic Cabling! YES YES YES!
We currently, as in before it was tore apart, had our XBOX hooked up to it, but nothing else. Prety soon, we will also have our new PS2 (thanks again Whiskers) hooked up to it. And also some day I hope to have my Dreamcast on it, and I am told I can as soon as I get the VGA adaptor. XBOX can be Tearfully Beautiful at times in High-Def. LOVE IT! and the sweet surround sure dont hurt it either. ;)
Other than this, in our back storage room:
I hooked up a good 25" TV and:
Nintendo N64 - with s-video hookup
Sony PS1 - AV and great
and I thought there was something else, but nope.
Thats all the game systems (that I care to list) hooked up in my familys house! I hope you enjoyed. :D

On top of the TV:
GameCube - wavebird allows me to not have cables hanging down in front of me :D
Dreamcast - really long controller extension cable allows me to do the same thing.
Beside the TV:
N64 - sits on top of a couple boxes (32X, Saturn) on top of the left stereo speaker box.
Xbox - sits on top the VCR, which is on top of the stereo amplifier, which sits on the TV's right hand side.
PS2 - on the far right of the setup on top of the PSone box, which is atop the right speaker box.
All my other consoles are accomodated on the desk on the left side of the room (SNES, Saturn, NES, SMS, MD/MCD) and are connected via daisy-chained RF cabling.
2600, 7800, PSone and somes others are unfortunately resigned to sitting in storage.
